The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Washington Commanders in a matchup of seven-win teams on Thursday Night Football.
Both teams look like legit playoff teams with a chance to go far.
But there can only be one winner on Thursday, and Fox Sports analyst Danny Parkins believes the Eagles will win.
“Philly’s defense this year is shockingly good…Their pass defense is real,” Parkins said Thursday morning on Breakfast Ball.

Currently, the Eagles rank fifth in points allowed per game (17.9), third in pass yards allowed per game (173.4), fourth in opposing passer rating (78.6), and first in pass yards allowed per attempt (6.1).
This unit looks like one of the better units in the league, which is part of why they have seven wins.
In four out of their last five games, they have given up 20 points or less to opposing defenses.
Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter are standing their ground in the interior of the defensive line.
Veteran edge-rushers Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat also contribute their share of quality plays.
But the back end of this defense might be the most impressive part of it all.
They have a perfect mix of experience and youth, which has resulted in this group becoming the backbone of this unit.
Veterans such as Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay Jr. and safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson have helped guide younger players like Reed Blankenship and Cooper DeJean.
If this team can win on Thursday night, it could very well be because of this defense and its secondary.
