The 2024 Dallas Cowboys are not a good football team, we all understand that by now. From the injuries leading to a 3-7 start, to Jerry Jones threatening to fire radio hosts have all been part of the bad this season.
I know it is nearly impossible to find anything of value during a losing season. Well, because we have seen this team win 12 games each of the last three seasons.
They fell short in the playoffs each time, but it was still a fun regular season, watching them compete for the playoffs and the NFC East.
This season has been much different, and I have done my fair share of complaining on Twitter about how badly this team is put together, and that Jerry Jones set them up to fail even before the season started.
I wanted to see if anyone had started thinking like I have. What positives can we take away from such a down season for this football team?

I am sure this is at the top of the list for everyone who follows this team like I do. For the first time since the first Dak Prescott injury in 2020, the Dallas Cowboys are going to have a very solid draft pick.
The Cowboys finished that 2020 season with a 6-10 record, and it would have been a heck of a lot worse if they did not win three out of their last four games.
They had a 3-9 record after week 13, very similar to the way this season is going for them.
I don’t see this football team winning three more games. The only possible wins they have left are against the Giants on Thanksgiving and the Panthers in week 15. The rest are going to losses.
https://twitter.com/KevinGraySports/status/1858680771885547824 A lot of football left to be played to see where this team is going to fall, but I am honestly hoping for a top-5 pick this season, they have enough players under contract that they can make 2025 work, and adding a top guy will help.
If this team had any other owner than Jerry Jones, I would probably be a little happier about this than I am.
Jerry controls this football team, he has to have a head coach who knows his role. Yeck, McCarthy can’t even give a report of some of the players that are injured because Jerry makes the call if they are going to play or not.
I will be glad to see a fresh face leading the team, but who is going to want to take this job with Jones?
https://twitter.com/RGIII/status/1858731781588988043 I will say this season for the first time maybe I have ever getting to Jerry, you can see it week after week, and maybe this will allow him to move out of the way a bit and let these guys do what they have to do.
I would love a guy like Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator...
