How did it all start for these two not so nice neighbors?

The New Orleans Saints (1-0) are on the road in Week 2 of the 2024 season to face the Dallas Cowboys (1-0) on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.

The Saints first played the Cowboys back on October 15, 1967, in Cotton Bowl Stadium. New Orleans lost that game 14-10 and proceeded to lose their next 5 games to Dallas. In 1971, the Saints finally got their first win against the Cowboys 24-10, and it was in front of their fans at home in the Superdome.

This will be the 31st time that these two franchises will face one another during the regular season. The Saints currently have a 13-18 record against the Cowboys, winning 6 of their last 10 matchups. The Saints have a 2-2 record when playing the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Interestingly enough, Dallas is one of the 4 teams that New Orleans has not yet went up against in the post season. The Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders and New York Giants are the other three.

Kickoff is at noon and the game will be broadcast on FOX with Kevin Burkhardt (play-by-play), Tom Brady (color analyst), Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi (sideline)
