On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs handed the Denver Broncos a 16-14 defeat in the NFL’s Week 10. Here’s some of what Tom Ruprecht overheard on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

1. “It’s hard to focus. I’m emotionally spent from watching that crucial Carolina Panthers-New York Giants game.”
2. “Did we definitely remember to bring wide receivers?”
3. “The expression ‘Deer in the headlights’ will now be ‘Bo Nix in a blitz.’”
4. “It’s as if the wide receivers have separation anxiety when they’re away from the Broncos’ defensive backs.”
5. “Can someone go on Monster.com to see if there are any left tackles in the Kansas City area?”
6. “Winning with a blocked field goal at the end of regulation? In Chiefs Kingdom this season, that’s called a ‘comfortable victory’.”
