Pat’s Update 4:13 PM: Wisconsin QB Tanner Mordecai plans to sign a contract with the 49ers.
Welcome to the second part of the draft: Undrafted Free Agency. Now that the 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, the 49ers will now round out their roster with the talent that didn’t get drafted.
It’s no secret that the Niners have had plenty of success in undrafted free agency during Kyle Shanahan’s tenure, signing players like Kendrick Bourne, Jeff Wilson, Emmanuel Moseley, Jordan Mason, and Azeez Al-Shaair. They will look to add to that list this year.
The big name going around will be if Frank Gore Jr., son of 49ers great Frank Gore could be getting the call to continue his family's legacy.
UDFAs have a choice in the team they go to which can sometimes influence the final decision. We’ll track all the roster spots here.
