BIG MOVE for the Cowboys!

What a deal! Jerry Jones does it again! Trading a fourth round pick for a change-of-scenery receiver while sitting at 3-5 and missing Dak Prescott due to a hamstring injury. Normally when you’re facing a lost season, you become sellers at the trade deadline, but not the Cowboys! They’re buyers. They’re all in baby!

Mind you, the Kansas City Chiefs got DeAndre Hopkins for a 5th. The Jets got Davante Adams for a 4th. The Ravens got Diontae Johnson for a 5th. And the Cowboys sent Amari Cooper to Cleveland for a 5th, so they spent more to acquire Mingo than what they got in return for Cooper.

Mingo was a second round draft pick last year out of Ole Miss. He caught 43 passes for 418 yards and 0 touchdowns during his rookie year, and this season had 12 receptions for 121 yards. The Panthers stink, so maybe there’s a turnaround in Dallas, or maybe not with Cooper Rush throwing him the ball.
