For Week 9 of the NFL season, Mile High Report’s Christopher Hart picked 9 of 15 games correctly. Here are his straight up picks for Week 10.
After three weeks of strong performances, I fell back to earth with my Week 9 predictions getting just 9 of 15 games correctly.
Through 9 weeks, I’m at 90-49. That’s a pretty good record and still at 65-percent for the season. There are just 14 matchups this week with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks on their byes.
Without further ado, here are my Week 10 predictions. Let’s see if I can do better this week as opposed to last.
Thursday Night Football – Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
TNF’s matchup this week pits two AFC North rivals against each other. Both are coming off Week 9 victories. Each team moves the ball well and scores on offense, but defensively both need work. I’m taken the Ravens at home because Lamar Jackson is a special player and has been playing like an MVP all season long.
Winner: Ravens
Sunday Football (Early Game) – New York Giants at Carolina Panthers
A battle of two 2-7 teams that have lost four of their last five games. Easily one of the least desirable games on this weekend’s slate and nothing I’m particularly interested in discussing more than necessary. I guess I’ll take the Giants on the road in what will likely be snoozefest.
Winner: Giants
Sunday Football (Early Game) – Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
The Falcons sit atop the NFC South and have one four of their last five games. The Saints are at the bottom of the division, recently traded away Marshon Lattimore, and are losers of seven in a row. Stranger things have happened, but I think it’s an easy win for the Falcons.
Winner: Falcons
Sunday Football (Early Game) – New England Patriots at Chicago Bears
It’s Drake Maye vs. Caleb Williams in another rookie quarterback battle. The Patriots have seen a spark on offense with Maye at the helm, but I think Williams has a much better corps of talent around him. I’ll take Chicago at home to rebound off last week’s loss.
Winner: Bears
Sunday Football (Early Game) – Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders
This is going to be a fun game and a big test for Jayden Daniels who has played very well as a rookie. That Steelers defense is no joke. Both teams are atop their respective divisions and look like easy calls for the playoffs. Experience might be on the Steelers’ side, but I think Daniels and the Commanders’ offense can do enough secure a victory.
Winner: Commanders
Sunday Football (Early Game) – Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Vikings did enough to win last weekend top stop their two-game skid and are second in the NFC North. The Jaguars continue to struggle and are in the hunt for a Top 5 pick. The Jaguars have the homefield advantage, but...
