Chargers-Ravens Friday Injury Report: Ladd McConkey limited

Chargers-Ravens Friday Injury Report: Ladd McConkey limited

After being estimated as a DNP on Thursday, Ladd McConkey was a limited participant on Friday for the Chargers.

The Chargers have posted their first legitimate injury report of Week 12 and there are, coincidentally, 12 names listed.

In a sign of improvement from Thursday’s estimated report, the Chargers had just three players with a DNP tag, down from four 24 hours ago. Safety AJ Finley (ankle), running back J.K. Dobbins, and linebacker Denzel Perryman (groin) all sat out Friday, although Dobbins’ status stems from a rest day which he’s taken every week for the past month and a half....

On Friday evening, Kansas City found some depth at the left tackle position.

The Kansas City Chiefs are signing veteran offensive tackle DJ Humphries, a source confirmed to Arrowhead Pride.

FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz was the first to break the news early Friday evening. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Humphries will earn $2 million with a maximum value of $4.5 million.

Humphries, 30, was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Over his nine-year NFL career, the 6-foot-5, 307-pound tackle has made 98 starts.

After sitting his entire rookie year (2015), Humphries...

Heading into Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Denver Broncos are hopeful that defensive end Zach Allen will be able to go after he was listed as questionable. Allen was limited during Wednesday’s practice in a non-injury-related designation. He was a full participant on Thursday but was limited on Friday with a heel injury, according to the team’s official report.

Fans exuberant over the Broncos turnaround

The Denver Broncos are sitting in good position in the AFC and that has fans excited for the remaining six games.

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, I asked Denver Broncos fans how they felt the team would perform over the next three games. Their opponents are all under .500 with the Las Vegas Raiders (2-8), Cleveland Browns (3-8), and Indianapolis Colts (5-6) all upcoming. Unsurprisingly, most of us felt they’ll run the tables on this line up, but 99% think they’ll win at least two of those three games.

With their Week 16 game against the [Los Angeles...

Las Vegas’ tight end, Denver’s quarterback are having Year 1 success

Round 2 for the Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos in Week 12 — this time, inside Allegiant Stadium.

That’s the Sunday afternoon AFC West matchup on tap in the desert and it’s division foes heading in different directions. The visiting Broncos sit at 6-5 and are in the thick of the postseason chase while the host Raiders are 2-8 and sauntering through a disappointing 2024 campaign.

The preview the contest, Ian St. Clair from our friends at Mile High Report was kind enough to answer a few questions...

Confidence in Chargers remains high entering Monday Night Football

Confidence in Chargers remains high entering Monday Night Football

Welcome back to another set of SB Nation Reacts results, brought to you by our friends over at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Despite coming in at 99 percent a week ago, our latest Reacts poll came back at 98 percent after the Chargers won their fourth consecutive game this past Sunday.

I guess all the momentum in the world can’t get the sturdiest of nay-sayers from flipping their opinion of the team.

Will a win against the Ravens on Monday Night Football finally get every single participant to believe in the direction of the franchise? I guess you’ll all have to check...

Las Vegas is beat up headed in Week 12

As expected, the 2-8 Las Vegas Raiders will be without their top two running backs and, at least, two of their three top cornerbacks Sunday when they host the Denver Broncos at Allegiant Stadium (1:05 p.m. PT kickoff).

Friday afternoon, Las Vegas head coach Antonio Pierce said cornerbacks Jakorian Bennett (shoulder) and Hobbs (ankle) and running backs Zamir White (quad) and Alexander Mattison (ankle) will not play Sunday. They all missed the entire practice week.

Starting cornerback Jack Jones (back) will practice Friday and, thus, has a chance to play Sunday....

What’s next for Brock Bowers?

What’s next for Brock Bowers?

He wants all of the records

Brock Bowers has been making the Las Vegas Raiders worth watching.

It’s been a miserable season for the 2-8 Raiders so far. But Bowers, the No. 13 overall draft pick, has been worth the price of admission.

He’s been unreal. Let’s recap:

  • He set a rookie record with 13 catches at Miami in week 11.
  • He has 70 receptions. He has the second most catches by a Raiders rookie behind Amari Cooper’s 72 in 2015. Bowers has seven more games to play.
  • He is the ninth rookie tight end to catch...

SB Nation Reacts: Raiders fans gain confidence in the team’s direction after their 6th straight loss

Raider Nation gained confidence after the Raiders tallied another loss last Sunday

The Las Vegas Raiders are in a six-week drought regarding the win column. Losing to the Miami Dolphins 34-19 continues their ugly streak that doesn’t seem to have an end.

Antonio Pierce made changes to the offensive staff, which improved the offense. The team only punted once, but the defense didn’t force a punt throughout the matchup. It was the area that was supposed to display improvement from previous Raiders teams that became detrimental to their success. If the defensive side of the ball continues to underwhelm with...
