The Seattle Seahawks have been masterful on the road under Mike Macdonald. In two seasons under their Super Bowl champion head coach, they’ve won 15 out of 17 games away from Lumen Field, including all eight of their 10 am PT trips to the central and eastern time zones. Has anyone checked on Coach Macdonald’s Spotify playlist? Because it seems whenever the Seahawks play on the road he seems to enjoy “The Sound of Silence” better than Simon, Garfunkel, and the whole of Disturbed.
Anyway, the Seahawks will have eight road games in the 2026 regular season. Unlike the past...

The Seattle Seahawks have got their 2026 schedule all set, starting with a Super Bowl rematch against the New England Patriots. We’ve still got training camp and preseason to get through, so a lot of the initial takes about win-loss predictions will probably look silly across the NFL, but that doesn’t stop any of us from having an opinion.
Having combed over the schedule details, these are my day-after takeaways from Thursday’s release.
Yes, the Seahawks have the benefit of being Super Bowl champions and therefore they’re destined to have...

The Seattle Seahawks signed two rookie wide receivers on Thursday, and they’ve also moved on from a second player from their UDFA rookie class.
Per the NFL’s official transaction write, former Cal-Poly receiver Michael Briscoe was waived for a “failure to disclose physical condition.” It also sounds like he had a rough rookie minicamp, which might have made Seattle’s decision that much easier to make.
There’s an ambiguity to “failure to disclose physical condition” that has some financial implications. As Seahawksdraftblog.com columnist and cap specialist Curtis Allen notes, it’s possible that the guaranteed money Briscoe received could be void.
There...

At long last, the Seattle Seahawks’ full 2026 schedule has arrived! We might be over three months out from opening night at Lumen Field, but why not take an early guess at how the reigning Super Bowl champions will fare in year three under Mike Macdonald? Let’s take a look at each matchup and see how things might play out.
Much like how things went in Super Bowl 60, the Seahawks should have a handle on the Patriots in this season’s kickoff game. Although New England will be a bit...

The Seattle Seahawks’ 2026 regular season schedule is all set, starting with a Wednesday night kickoff and Super Bowl banner unfurling night against the New England Patriots. Before we get to September’s regular season action, there will be a trio of preseason games in August.
Whenever a team has an extra home regular season game, the NFL reduces the home preseason offering to just one. We’ll see the Seahawks’ lone Lumen Field exhibition against the Brian Schottenheimer-led Dallas Cowboys, whom Seattle will play on a Monday night in Week 13 of the regular season. They’ll head to Nashville to play...

The Seattle Seahawks have released their 2026 regular season schedule, which starts at home against the New England Patriots and ends with what could be a massive road game against the Los Angeles Rams. Hey, we’ve seen the Seahawks have to win the NFC West on the road and then win the Super Bowl at that same stadium a few weeks later. I can remember it like it was last season…
While the opponents have been known for months in advance, the order and timing of those games definitely matters. The Seahawks end their season with consecutive road games for...

The Seattle Seahawks 2026 regular season schedule is here!
It’ll be an earlier start than usual for the Super Bowl champions, who begin their quest for a repeat on Sept. 9 with a Super Bowl 60 rematch against the New England Patriots. Due to the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers game on Australia on Thursday (well, Friday in Melbourne but Thursday in the United States), Seattle vs. New England is a rare Wednesday night showdown. The Seahawks will spend the rest of September on the road against the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders.
For those of you who...

With Riq Woolen gone this offseason, the Seattle Seahawks entered the draft needing to replenish the cornerback room. Seattle re-signed Josh Jobe and added depth options like Noah Igbinoghene and Shemar Jean-Charles, but none of those moves truly changed the identity of the group. In the third round, Seattle finally addressed that by selecting Julian Neal.
Neal does not arrive with immediate starter expectations, at least not early on. But what makes him fascinating is how different his profile looks compared to the rest of the room. He brings size, length, physicality, and a willingness to embrace contact that immediately...

The Seattle Seahawks are on the cusp of having their entire 2026 draft class under contract.
NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported on Wednesday that second-round selection Bud Clark has agreed to the standard four-year rookie deal. The only thing of significance to note is his contract is fully guaranteed over the first two seasons.
If you recall last year’s Nick Emmanwori deal, the Seahawks were one of a handful of teams to give their second-round pick a fully guaranteed contract. Previously the world of fully guaranteed rookie contracts were the domain of the first-rounders, but now we’ve started to see...
