Ben Johnson worked wonders in his first season as the Chicago Bears‘ head coach, likely effectively saving general manager Ryan Poles from hearing any discussion about being on the hot seat after his teams went 15-36 in the years prior. Together, they’ve formed what looks like could emerge as a powerhouse, even in the crowded NFC North.
Yet, some still think the Bears have at least one area that could develop into a sore spot throughout the season, and now they’re being urged to do something about it, before it becomes a problem later on.

After re-signing Sam Ehlinger in March, the Broncos have their three-man quarterback group from 2025 in place: Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham, and Ehlinger. Stidham has worked as Denver’s second-string passer in each of the past three seasons, operating as Russell Wilson’s QB2 in 2023 and then as Nix’s backup over the 2024-25 campaigns.
According to Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post, that could change in 2026. In Gabriel’s opinion, Ehlinger will overtake Stidham for the backup job.

We are 57 days away from the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season-opening game against the Denver Broncos on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1.
