Matt Judon will stay in the AFC East after being waived by the Dolphins on Wednesday. After a visit to Buffalo on Friday, the veteran defensive end has agreed to join the Bills’ practice squad, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Bills are Judon’s fifth different NFL team and fourth since 2023. After spending 2023 with the Patriots and 2024 with the Falcons, Judon signed with the Dolphins in August and took on a secondary role in Miami’s edge rushing rotation. Even after seeing an uptick in playing time after the Jaelan Phillips trade, the 10-year veteran recorded just 19...

A Bird Battle of two tailspun teams missing their starting quarterback takes place on Sunday in Glendale, Arizona, when the Falcons face off against the Cardinals. On the heels of its upset road victory over Tampa Bay, Atlanta finds itself as 2.5-point road favorites over Arizona, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins dialed it back to Kirktober in that win, completing 30 of 44 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns. Tight end Kyle Pitts was the beneficiary of all three of those touchdown passes, opening up quite the conversation on what the Falcons should do as he heads into...

Kenny Pickett filled in as the Las Vegas Raiders’ starting quarterback in a disastrous shutout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15. Pickett got the start after Geno Smith suffered a shoulder injury in a loss to the Denver Broncos a week earlier.
While things had been bleak in Las Vegas with Smith under center, the bottom fell out when Pickett took over. The Raiders lost 31-0 last Sunday and Pickett threw for 64 yards on 25 passes.
Now Smith will return to the starting role in Week 15. The veteran passer was a full practice participant all week...

Happy Friday, and I hope yinz are doing well. After having quite a dreary vibe around the team two weeks ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in a much better spot now. Big wins against the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins have the mood much higher, thanks to some improvements on both sides of the ball. […]

The Vikings placed linebacker Jonathan Greenard and safety Josh Metellus on injured reserve earlier this week, ending their seasons. Add left tackle Christian Darrisaw to the list. He’s heading to IR with a left knee injury, head coach Kevin O’Connell announced (via Adam Schefter of ESPN).
This is not a new issue for Darrisaw, whose left knee has bothered him since he tore his ACL and MCL in a loss to the Rams on Oct. 24, 2024. Darrisaw missed the last 10 games of the regular season and another loss to the Rams in the wild-card round.
Still recovering...

The Buffalo Bills were back practicing on Friday ahead of their Week 16 road game against the Cleveland Browns. After a concerning injury report on Thursday, the news on the final day of practice this week was encouraging.
The biggest news is that tight end Dalton Kincaid was back on the field as a full participant on Friday, just a day after being listed as “DNP.” In other words, Kincaid should be good to go on Sunday. The “DNP” designation out of Thursday’s session gave rise to some concern, but it appears much of the framework for it comes out...

A recent report suggests the Miami Dolphins have already made a decision on head coach Mike McDaniel’s future with the team.
According to CBS Sports NFL Insider, Jonathan Jones, many people around the league believe the Dolphins will retain Mike McDaniel, stating that the team ‘loves Mike” and feels like “he’s had a tough hand” during his first four seasons in Miami.
I don’t think anyone would argue that he’s been dealt a tough hand.
But making a decision now, with three games left to play, doesn’t seem necessary. Then again, maybe the belief in Miami Gardens is that rookie...
