The 24-year-old passed away in Houston from what authorities have ruled a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a police pursuit. According to KHOU, Deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 responded to a call from a family member who reported an argument during which...
The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and the New England Patriots were quite busy during draft weekend. They made 11 picks, which was tied for the most for any team in the league as some view the Patriots as one of the 2025 draft’s biggest winners.
Now that there’s been some time to digest each of the Patriots’ selections, let’s grade all 11 of their picks and dish out an overall grade for Eliot Wolf and crew.
It’s been years since the Patriots have made any...
TreVeyon Henderson is a folk hero in his hometown.
“He’s a legend here,” said Ricky Irby, the head football coach for Henderson’s three seasons at Hopewell High (Va).
Henderson was the top running back in the country, even though he barely played the position in high school. He didn’t move into the backfield until his junior season when he compiled nearly 3,000 yards from scrimmage and scored 50 touchdowns. His older half-brother, Ronnie Walker Jr., who played at Indiana and Virginia, was the starting running back during Henderson’s freshman season. Robert Briggs, who went on to play college football himself,...
After the first-round selection of offensive lineman Tyler Booker in last week’s draft, conventional wisdom had the Dallas Cowboys focusing on the run game in 2025.
That might have been true had Dallas bothered to follow that pick up with a three-down running back in either of the next two rounds.
Instead, the Cowboys selected another edge player in the second round and a cornerback in the third. Said cornerback is coming off of a torn ACL at that.
That doesn’t exactly scream “focusing on the run” here.
Dallas went into the draft needing an RB1 with the departure of...
The Pittsburgh Steelers landed a haul when it comes to pass-rush potential in the 2025 NFL Draft, at least according to one analyst.

Let's try this again:

The Pittsburgh Steelers have wanted to bolster their physicality in recent years, and Ben Roethlisberger believes they did in this draft. Of course, physicality has been an emphasis in their previous two drafts, too. This year, it wasn’t just the draft, but also free agency, and even via trade. “I think that this draft feels […]

It’s been a wild ride, but things are starting to clear up at linebacker for the Cowboys.
Over the years, the Dallas Cowboys have experienced considerable transition at the linebacker position. During the Rolando McClain and Jaylon Smith soap operas and the annual mystery of whether Sean Lee could stay healthy, there has been considerable flux at the position.
Every year, the team tries to piece something together, whether it’s Day 3 draft investments like Anthony Hitchens or Damien Wilson, or low-cost free agent signings like Justin Durant or Anthony Barr. And with the repeated coaching changes over the last...
Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 5/1/25
Everyone is different and because everyone is different, it’s mock o’clock somewhere, and so if you think it’s too early to do a mock draft, I can assure there are others out there doing them. Bless their hearts. Me, I have no idea who the Rams should take next year, but if you have any thoughts let us know! It’s all good and I don’t judge! I just like the interaction.
