The Pittsburgh Steelers added a pair of veterans on Thursday morning, signing quarterback Logan Woodside and offensive tackle Andrus Peat. Mike Tomlin’s team got its first look at the pair in black and gold at training camp practice at St. Vincent College later in the day. Cam Heyward Declines Interview, Makes Cryptic Instagram Post

Pittsburgh Steelers four-time All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward hasn’t fully participated in practice yet this summer as he awaits a restructured contract that has not gotten done, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Heyward did not practice on Thursday, and he declined media requests after practice.

He also mad a cryptic post on Instagram shortly after practice. The post read, “When you take things for granted, the things you are granted get taken.”

To say the least, it appears Heyward is not happy with the Steelers right now.

Steelers All-Pro Kicker Chris Boswell Wants New Deal

In addition to defensive tackle Cam Heyward, Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro kicker Chris Boswell is also seeking a new deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Boswell is currently the NFL’s eighth-highest paid kicker. He’s currently signed through 2026 with a $5 million average annual value. Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs is the league’s highest-paid kicker with a contract value of $25.6 million/$6.4 AAV.

Steelers Get Good News on Derrick Harmon

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin expects rookie Derrick Harmon to play on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite missing Wednesday‘s practice. Harmon was a full participant at Thursday’s practice.

Harmon was not seen at all during the team’s 12th practice of training camp at St. Vincent College on Wednesday. Tomlin downplayed Harmon’s absence, however.

Around an hour after his report that Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward is looking for a raise from the Steelers, ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter posted that Heyward’s teammate, kicker Chris Boswell, is also hoping for more money.
