For the first time since suffering an injury during training camp last week, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Dean Lowry addressed his situation on Tuesday.
A 10th-year veteran, Lowry posted a picture on Instagram, explaining the extent of his injury and how he’s processing it.
“During a training camp practice last week I sustained an ACL injury that will likely end my season,” Lowry wrote. “Hard to comprehend the thoughts and emotions I have felt since then. Heartbroken I won’t get to fully experience the highs and lows of an NFL season with a group I love going to work with....

UNITY TWP., Pa. — The Pittsburgh Steelers offense so far in 2025 under Art Smith and Aaron Rodgers has utilized a lot more quick passing and the middle of the field than they did last season with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.

UNITY TWP., Pa. — Pittsburgh Steelers rookie outside linebacker Jack Sawyer is chomping at the bit to play in his first preaseason game on Saturday night against the Jacksonville jaguars.
“Super excited. It’s going to be pretty cool to put the pads on and get out in the stadium as the first time as a Steeler. We’re all really anxious about it, looking forward to it and preparing as much as we can,” Sawyer said at St. Vincent College on Tuesday.
