Broeker was released by the Steelers yesterday to make room for new OL Andrus Peat. Mike Tomlin likes to say doesn’t keep up with the “Joneses'” but when it comes to training camp, he’s acutely aware of his surroundings. Enlisting the help of NFL Network analyst and former lineman Brian Baldinger, Tomlin wants to have the NFL’s most physical summer. “We were up there on Wednesday this past week, we […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers underwent a lot of changes offensively this offseason. They lost players like Najee Harris, Dan Moore Jr., and George Pickens, while also adding ones like Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf. There was an effort by the Steelers to make their team a Super Bowl contender. However, Greg Jennings, a former NFL wide […]
The Steelers have the highest-paid defense in the NFL by a wide margin. With as many stars as they have on that side of the football, there are plenty of expectations for this unit. Those expectations are so high that Steelers reporter Jeff Hathhorn thinks it’s a failure if this defense isn’t one of the […]
UNITY TWP, Pa. — The Pittsburgh Steelers could bolster their wide receiver corps prior to the start of the regular season, but wide receiver Scotty Miller has made a case at training camp that he could be a reliable option for the club this season.
“I pride myself on, for one, just being able to do what I (am asked) to do,” Miller said. “Just the receiver position, just being able to play all the different spots, being able to play the slot, being able to go outside and beat bigger corners one on one, and then just being able...
To the delight of fans across the globe, the Pittsburgh Steelers are back! Mike Tomlin’s squad will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars this Saturday night. Predictably so, there are quite a few starters without much to prove that are slated to sit out the contest. However, plenty of key contributors will be in pads, including a dozen or so whose development could go a long way in defining how the 2025 season unfolds.
Even though the final outcome is ultimately inconsequential, we still have plenty to look forward to. Here are some critical players worth keeping an...
Aaron Rodgers has played with lots of great receivers. And as someone who appreciates history, he knows the game and its stars as well as anyone. While no receiver is perfect, Rodgers played a fun game with former Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden to take the best traits of each one to create the “perfect” wideout. […]
This is weird territory, personally speaking. 99.9 percent of the time, I’m all for players getting their money. Millionaires before billionaires and all of that. This particular case, though, with Cam Heyward wanting a new contract just over a year after he got a new one annoys me.
If you recall, last offseason Heyward was entering the final year of his deal. In the middle of the offseason, though, the two sides agreed on a two-year extension that would pay him just under $30 million over the duration of the deal. The 36 year-old then put together an All-Pro season...
One day, Aaron Rodgers will find himself enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as one of the best quarterbacks of all time. That’s why, even at 41 years old, the Pittsburgh Steelers are willing to take a chance on him. Rodgers’ past few seasons haven’t been great, but there’s hope that he can […]
A former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is looking for a new team with the 2025 NFL season nearing.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Andy Isabella was released by the San Francisco 49ers this week after suffering an ankle injury, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.
Isabella had a brief stint on the Steelers roster last season. He signed to their practice squad on Oct. 25 and was released on Nov. 5. Pittsburgh parted ways with him after trading for wide receiver Mike Williams at the trade deadline.
The 28-year-old began his NFL career as a second-round pick (No. 62 overall)...
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is getting the hang of the offense. In a 1-on-1 interview with Missi Matthews, Rodgers, who said last week that the picture was still a “little fuzzy” when it came to learning Arthur Smith’s offense, said he feels close to mastering it. “For me, it’s what image is coming to […]
