A lot of adjustments are needed, from style of play, to level of competition, and more. But he […]

The 2023 draft class remains the magnum opus of Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan, and with so many talented youngsters heading into contract years, comes a lengthy to-do list on negotiations. The first shoe to drop was 24-year-old edge rusher Nick Herbig, who agreed to a four-year, $100M dollar extension with the club, making him the 16th-highest-paid player in the league at his position. Even after committing significant financial resources to veterans T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith, it makes sense to lock up an ascending young talent early to avoid having to get into a bidding war for his...
On the same day that tight end Darnell Washington agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a four-year, $42 million contract extension, it was revealed that Washington and his wife, Estefany, are having a baby boy.
“Blessed with a baby boy,” Estefany Washington wrote in an Instagram post.
Darnell and Estefany have three daughters.
To say the least, June 3, 2026 was a special day for the Washington family.
The four-year deal has $42 million in new money, for an average annual value of $10.5 million per season, and has $21 million in guarantees.
The 6-foot-7 and over 300-pound...

Hey Steelers Fans. Welcome to Thursday.
In an effort to prove just how valuable these ‘mandatory’ mini-camps are for NFL teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers will use their final day to work on some stuff right? Add in a few more wrinkles to the offensive playbook? Maybe see what T.J. Watt looks like on the other side? Nah… There’s no time for all of that, not when you can go to Kennywood! This is probably where I would have inserted a Kenny Pickett joke in the past but those days are long gone. The team’s trip to the...

An NFL insider examines what the Pittsburgh Steelers could net from trading away outside linebacker T.J. Watt.
The Pittsburgh Steelers paid outside linebacker Nick Herbig big-time money, signing him to a four-year, $100 million contract extension this week. That has many believing the team could soon move on from one of fellow outside linebackers T.J. Watt or Alex Highsmith.
NFL insider Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk recently revealed what Watt could net the Steelers in a trade.
“I think it starts with a first round pick. The question is, how much more does it go beyond that,” [Florio said...
While the Steelers hammered out extensions for two other 2023 draft picks, Joey Porter Jr. will be a tougher negotiation. For one thing, he’s an unquestioned starter, capable of logging 1,000-plus snaps if he stays healthy. Both Nick Herbig and Darnell Washington are great at what they do but are part of a group. Even […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers will conclude mandatory minicamp on Thursday before returning next week for their final rounds of OTAs. After that, they will let out for six weeks before reporting to Latrobe for training camp.
This is the time of year for fringe players to show they deserve a spot on the 53-man roster, and one receiver in particular made a big play on Tuesday to do just that.
Wide receiver Roman Wilson tracked down a deep ball from Aaron Rodgers for a big gain, as reported by Brendan Howe of Steelers Now.
“During a two-minute-type team period towards the...

The Cleveland Browns do not what to see defensive end Myles Garrett ever make it back to the AFC North.
The Cleveland Browns moved on from reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett this week, trading him to the Los Angeles Rams. However, they did everything they could to ensure he does not find himself back in the AFC North.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Browns made the 2029 third-round pick that they sent to the Rams conditional. It will become a first-round pick if Los Angeles were to trade Garrett back into the AFC...
