The Steelers are muddling through it right now, but on Tuesday, Mike Tomlin highlights two areas of strength on offense. Specifically, he commended the group for its work in some areas of situational football, although another area needs major improvement. While early, there is one crucially important category in which they rank fourth in the […]

For years, Steelers fans would point out every time the Patriots under Bill Belichick signed one of their cuts before a game. Although the intel they might be able to provide isn’t the primary reason for their employment, […]
A familiar voice will be helping call the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 3 game against the New England Patriots on Sunday. T.J. Watt’s older brother, J.J. Watt, will be in the CBS broadcast booth alongside play-by-play man Ian Eagle, while Evan Washburn reports from the sideline.
The trio also called the Steelers’ first game of the 2025 season, an exciting 34-32 win over the New York Jets in Week 1.
The elder Watt joined CBS’ No. 2 announcing team this summer, replacing longtime Madden announcing voice Charles Davis, who is now broadcasting games with Andrew Catalon, Jason McCourty and AJ Ross....

The Pittsburgh Steelers have released tight end JJ Galbreath from their practice squad, the team announced on Tuesday.
Galbreath, 24, signed with the Steelers this April as an undrafted free agent out of South Dakota. He was waived by the team in the final roster cuts this August, but cleared waivers and was re-signed to the practice squad. He was not elevated for either of the first two games.
A 6-foot-3 3/8, 231-pound tight end, Galbreath showed flashes of that athleticism at the NFL level, but did not turn that into production during a long preseason tryout.
Galbreath appeared in...
