Yesterday I wrote about Kenny Moore being available to the Los Angeles Rams, and more players are available today. Months from now, more players available. You cannot make this up.
Anyone you want to see join the Rams? Just wait because more players will be possible. Or name a player and post them in the comments! We love comments around here. On Saturday? We love comments even more.
Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times. Thank you.

The NFL will release the 2026 schedule next Thursday, March 14th. One game is known for sure already: The Los Angeles Rams open against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, September 10th in Melbourne, Australia.
We will know the rest of their games in less than a week.
“The league already has announced that the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will meet in Melbourne, Australia, in Week 1. The game will be aired in primetime in the United States at 8:35 p.m. ET on Sept. 10. Melbourne is 14 hours ahead of New York and 17 hours...

The NFL avoided a major offseason distraction today after the league and the NFL Referees Association agreed to a new seven-year collective bargaining agreement that secures labor peace through the 2032 season. The deal ensures that veteran officiating crews will remain in place and eliminates concerns about a possible referee lockout before the 2026 campaign begins.
For the league, the agreement represents far more than just another labor deal. Officiating has become one of the most heavily scrutinized aspects of professional football, with every controversial penalty or missed call immediately dissected across television broadcasts and social media. Maintaining experienced officials...

Every NFL draft season brings excitement, optimism, and one tradition that football fans cannot resist — rookie comparisons. From Hall of Fame projections to stylistic similarities, analysts and fans spend months searching for the perfect NFL counterpart for incoming prospects. The Los Angeles Rams grabbed five prospects in the 2026 draft and fans are dying to see them in action at some point in time to know if Les Snead and Sean McVay made the right call. In the mean time, here is how I viewed each prospect based on their collegiate film.

Before turning heads at the NFL draft by taking quarterback Ty Simpson with the 13th-overall pick, the Los Angeles Rams made one of the biggest moves of the offseason in early March, sending the 29th-overall pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback Trent McDuffie.
The TST staff has already broken down a lot about what this trade could mean for the Rams in 2026 and beyond, including J.B. Scott’s column casting doubt over McDuffie’s fit in Los Angeles and his recap of The Athletic Football Show’s feelings on the move, not to mention Kenneth Arthur’s cost-benefit analysis of [McDuffie’s...

NFL teams are constantly trimming rosters and a recent player released was Kenny Moore of the Indianapolis Colts. He’s had some strong years if my memory is correct, but the Colts likely didn’t think his value was matching his play, so they cut him.
Now, other teams can make a move for player, who knows? Maybe by the time you are reading this a team did make a move grab him, but I would guess he’ll take his time if he can.
It will be interesting to see which other players become available, and the Rams will have some tough...

People are getting it wrong on the Los Angeles Rams, Ty Simpson, and Matthew Stafford. Partly this is because LA’s selection of Simpson with the 13th overall selection in last month’s NFL Draft was unexpected and jarring to many fans of the team.
But NFL history is littered with examples of franchises futureproofing football’s most valuable position, even if the only parallel the consensus seems to draw is between Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love.
Let’s look at every recent example I could think of where a team drafted a new quarterback to replace a great.

There is one certainty after the Los Angeles Rams’ 2026 NFL Draft: Ty Simpson is the future at quarterback.
When exactly the future starts is entirely uncertain. Matthew Stafford is the face of the franchise for at least the upcoming season. Stafford could return in 2027 and even beyond.
But the Rams must hold one belief true: Simpson cannot start until he is ready.
Even if the start to the 2026 season falls below expectations or Stafford is injured on the very first play of the very first game, Simpson is the future and must be protected at all costs....

Rams fans can watch their team’s Week 1 game against the 49ers on the same service that brought them Squid Game and Love is Blind: Netflix.
According to the AP, someone with knowledge of the scheduling has reported to them that Netflix will air L.A.’s week 1 matchup against San Francisco from Melbourne, Australia on September 10th.
Netflix will air the Week 1 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne, Australia, a person familiar with the move told The Associated Press on Thursday.

The NFL schedule release will take place sometime this month, and the Los Angeles Rams should be in primetime plenty this season. With the Rams established as a heavy Super Bowl favorite, they should be given the most primetime games in 2026.
That shouldn’t be much to ask from the league, even if the defending champion Seahawks reside in their division. Both matchups with Seattle should be considered for the primetime slot, considering last season’s thrillers in Week 16 and the NFC Championship.
Seattle will be among the league leaders in night games this year, and for good reason, but...

The Minnesota Vikings are casting a wide net in their search for a new general manager, and one of the more intriguing names connected to the opening is John McKay of the Los Angeles Rams. According to multiple reports this week, the Vikings have requested permission to interview McKay as they begin the process of replacing former general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.
McKay has steadily built a strong reputation around the NFL during his tenure with the Rams. Working under general manager Les Snead, McKay has been part of one of the league’s most aggressive and creative front offices. The Rams...

The idea of Justin Jefferson ever becoming available on the trade market feels almost impossible on the surface. Franchise receivers in their prime rarely get moved, especially one who has already established himself as arguably the NFL’s best route-runner and most dangerous offensive weapon. Yet every NFL season produces at least one blockbuster surprise, and if the Minnesota Vikings stumble out of contention by the midseason trade deadline, speculation surrounding Jefferson would immediately dominate league conversations.
That is where the Los Angeles Rams could become one of the most fascinating teams to watch.
The Rams have consistently shown they are...
