Well, that was an ugly one.
In the end, the Broncos survive and avoid being upset by the Jets, mostly due to their defense. It was an awful mix of poor play, penalties, turnovers, bad special teams play, Matt Peart, and just overall bad play by the offense. Thankfully, the Broncos’ defense remains legit and dominated this one and helped the Broncos advance to 4-2.
With all that said, here are your winners and losers from the Broncos’ 13-11 victory over the Jets.
The Jets had -10 passing yards
The Broncos’ defense had 9...
The Denver Broncos took on the New York Jets in an international affair across the pond in London. After four quarters, the Broncos were able to reign victorious and defeat the Jets 13-11 to earn their fourth win of the season. It wasn’t the prettiest game, but it was good enough to get the job done. Here are some instant reactions and miscellaneous thoughts from today’s game.
The Broncos won, but let’s talk about all the big issues from today’s game
Today’s game was emblematic of a problem the Broncos have had since the beginning of the season. While the...
The Denver Broncos were riding high from their big win last week and came to London where they fell into the trap against the winless New York Jets. They needed their defense to secure nine sacks and hold Justin Fields to nine completions to move to 4-2 on the season.
It’s not always pretty in the NFL and this one is as ugly as it gets.
Things didn’t start out well for the Broncos in this game. On what would have been the first first down of the game, Troy Franklin...
The New York Jets began the second quarter from their own 26-yard line, which was, ironically, their first snap from inside their own territory in the game.
Justin Fields and the Jets tried to get their run game going against the Denver Broncos vaunted defense. That would bring up their best third down and distance opportunity of the game up until that point. On third and five, Fields went deep and overthrew his intended target — though he was well-covered by Riley Moss anyway. The Jets would punt it away.
An outstanding punt pinned the Broncos at their own 21...
The Denver Broncos came away with a season-changing road win last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. They will be in London, England in Week 6 to take on the winless New York Jets. This is a game the good teams handle and I am hopeful after last week’s confidence-building win that the Broncos come out and execute a solid game plan to advance to 4-2.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 a.m. Mile High time on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on CBS....
The Denver Broncos have some significant changes to their typical inactives list this week. Running back Jaleel McLaughlin will get his first game action today, while both Que Robinson and Calvin Throckmorton are also both active. In their place, Tyler Badie, Jordan Jackson, and Jonah Elliss are all inactive, along with Ben Powers who is heading to short-term injured reserve. For the New York Jets, they have quite a long list of inactives for this game.
Here are your gameday inactives for the Broncos-Jets game in Week 6.
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos just had their biggest win as a team.
Overcoming a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter against the then-undefeated defending Super Bowl champions was impressive. Next up is the lowly New York Jets, a winless team but one that will fight and scrap.
The key for Broncos head coach Sean Payton and his coaching staff, as well as the leadership, is to put the win over the Eagles behind them.
“We preach the 24-hour rule after a win or a loss,” Payton told the media on Friday in London. “Matter of fact, you enjoy...
According to the NFL Network’s lead league insider Ian Rapoport, former first-round pick wide receiver Treylon Burks is expected to visit the Denver Broncos next week. Rapoport states that Burks will likely take other visits after the Broncos since he is generating significant interest, but Sean Payton and the rest of the Broncos front office will get the first crack at signing Burks.
The Tennessee Titans infamously traded away veteran wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 18th overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft. With that pick, they would go on to select Arkansas wide receiver...
Despite the Broncos being 3-2 and sharing a lead in the AFC West, there was no ultimate fan signed up for the Jets-Broncos game in London ;(
But that’s OK, because rather than call on my backup QBs, I went across the field to the opposing team and cajoled my good friend Rick Laughland, a diehard JETS fan, to do this week’s Ultimate Fan Guide. And it is a fantastic read with really good insight into his team’s woes — which we hope continue just one more week!
Laughland hosts the Just Another Jets Podcast with Dan Feuerstein, which I...
The Denver Broncos earned a top-notch victory over the Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. This week, the take on the winless New York Jets across the pond in London. While the Jets have struggled to date, they aren’t an opponent the Broncos can afford to estimate if they hope to secure their fourth win of the season. Here are three players I believe need to play at a high level in order for the Broncos to come away with a victory in London against the Jets.
Zach Allen might not have the gaudy stats and...
Another Saturday and you know what that means—another installment of Future Broncos. Last weekend, I took a look at several wide receivers the Denver Broncos should consider that would bolster the position group out long-term. This week, I wanted to highlight several players at running back Denver should take a look at to do the same.
In the 2025 NFL Draft, the Broncos added R.J. Harvey into the mix. He will be a focal point of the team’s plans down the road but is still learning to hit his stride in the pros. Free agent acquisition J.K. Dobbins has helped...
The Denver Broncos are overseas in Week 6 to take on the winless New York Jets in London. Technically labeled a “home game” for the Broncos, it will actually be a neutral field. This is a game Denver must have to keep up the momentum gained from their comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles last week. In fact, they need to get on a run here heading towards their Bye Week in seven weeks.
