The most interesting group to watch through training camp for me is going to be the running back room. The running game for the Broncos last season was largely ineffective once J.K. Dobbins was injured. This Broncos offense with an actual functioning running game would have won a Super Bowl last season.
So most of us in Broncos Country are licking our chops. While the Broncos didn’t take huge steps to shake up the roster, I really like what they did this offseason for two reasons.
Dobbins is probably the poster boy...

The Denver Broncos are ‘running it back’ this season, but with a key offensive addition in Jaylen Waddle. That should give Bo Nix quite the opportunity to break his career best in passing yards. As a rookie, he topped 3,700 yards passing with 29 touchdowns and nearly reached 4,000 yards passing last year but with only 25 passing touchdowns.
Where do you think he’ll end up come January 2027? Vote in the survey below and we’ll come back later this week with the results!

Sean Payton and his Denver Broncos coaching staff spent hours on one single play in preparation for the AFC Championship Game.
That type of preparation is insane. But it’s what makes Payton one of the best coaches in the NFL today.
Seth Wickersham’s in-depth article and his appearance on the Rich Eisen Show give us behind the scenes access to the Broncos braintrust.
We all know players are feeling the nerves of big games as they approach.
Apparently, coaching staffs are feeling that pressure too....
The annual rankings for the National Football League’s Top 100 keeps rolling along. Last week, defensive lineman Zach Allen checked in as the first Denver Broncos player at 73rd. This morning, wide receiver Courtland Sutton was the second player to make the list coming in at 68th. He was unranked in the NFL’s Top 100 last season.
The second longest tenured member of the team next to offensive tackle Garett Bolles, Sutton is entering his ninth season with the Denver Broncos. While Sutton hasn’t been a dominant receiver during his career, he has put together back-to-back seasons with over 70...

The Denver Broncos linebacker position has more competition behind it than they did last year, even if their two starters are already solidified.
After Dre Greenlaw’s brief stint in Denver didn’t work out, the team is doubling down on system and veteran leadership at the linebacker position with Justin Strnad and Alex Singleton returning in free agency. Both of these guys will start at linebacker this season for Denver, and it will give us our first look at a full season with Strnad getting the nod.
Last season, Strnad was easily Denver’s best...
The Denver Broncos drafted Luke Wattenberg with the 171st pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. At the time, the team was starting yet another rebuild under Nathaniel Hackett. One of the few positive surprises from those days was Wattenberg, who has been nothing if not impressive over his career with the Broncos.
The Broncos’ offensive line is arguably the best in the NFL. Wattenberg is a key piece of that puzzle. He was injured in their Week 15 game against the Jaguars, but made a return for the AFC Championship game.

Well, another silly ranking is out and the outrage is building. According to NFL executives and coaches, who have been asked to rank the best players at every position right now, our best quarterback doesn’t even crack the top half of the league.
Bo Nix, they believe, is the 18th best quarterback in the NFL.
And the best QB is the guy Nix outplayed in the playoffs last season.
The top five were predictable — Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson.
The next five were somewhat perplexing choices, picking Dak...

The Denver Broncos will report for training camp with veterans reporting on July 28 and rookies reporting on July 22 and the running back room has some exciting potential behind it going into 2026.
Coming into training camp, the Denver Broncos have six backs on their current 90-man roster.
While competition was more evident last year, it doesn’t seem like there will be much competition between the top three backs on the roster.
J.K. Dobbins returns as...
The Denver Broncos have a strong roster with very few significant question marks. Though one big question leading up to the 2026 season is Denver’s depth battle at the safety position. Brandon Jones and Talanoa Hufanga will be the team’s starting duo in the backend of their secondary. How things shake out after that remains to be seen.
A sixth-round draft pick by the franchise in the 2023 NFL Draft, JL Skinner offered a promising blend of traits, intangibles, and tenacious on the field play. Though since being drafted, Skinner has spent most of his time as purely a special...

Good morning Broncos Country! With training camp approaching, we’re finally at the end of the long and boring part of the offseason. Before you even realize it, training camp will be over and Week 1 will be kicking off. It is that close now!
In a few weeks, we’ll truly get our first look at the Denver Broncos 2026 rookie draft class and there are some potential boom candidates in that list. Of their seven draft picks, which one do you think has the best chance to have a breakout type rookie year?

We’re wrapping up the Top 5 run with a final list for special team players. This will include kickers, punters, returners, and gunners. That will make this list a bit hard to create, but that’s how it goes.
The clear choice for me was Jason Elam. The guy played for so long and was good for the whole time. He owns so many of the records for kicking in team history. After that, I went Ring of Fame with Rick Upchurch. Keith Burns is a guy who was such an outstanding special team captain that most fans still remember his...

Playing cornerback in the National Football League is extremely difficult. It’s an even tougher battle when you’re lined up opposite of an All-Pro caliber player like Patrick Surtain II. For the past two seasons, Riley Moss has been tasked with that challenge. And by most accounts, the former Iowa standout has performed admirably given the immense number of targets he receives on a game-to-game basis.
A third-round draft pick by the franchise in the 2023 NFL Draft, Moss spent most of his rookie campaign learning the ropes in a reserve role. The last two years, he has been a full-time...
