The Denver Broncos (15-3) are hosting the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots (15-3). However, they’ll do it without Bo Nix who suffered a season-ending ankle injury in their Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills. Jarrett Stidham will take the helm and face off against Drake Maye and the Patriots. Can this team keep the OVERDOG mentality alive for one more week?
According to FanDuel, the Broncos are 4.5-point home UNDERDOGS to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The over/under stands at 40.5 for this matchup.

Three of the four teams that will play on Championship weekend have been decided, with the winner of the Bears and Rams tonight heading to Seattle to take on the one-seed Seahawks, who dominated the 49ers on Saturday Night. In the AFC, the one-seed Broncos outlasted the Bills in overtime in an instant classic, but unfortunately lost quarterback Bo Nix to a broken ankle. They will face potential MVP Drake Maye and the New England Patriots next Sunday.

The Chicago Bears had a huge comeback win in the Wild Card round to earn another home playoff game. They will be hosting the Los Angeles Rams here and will be underdogs. The Rams do have the better record and I think are the better team, but the playoffs are funny sometimes. The weather is going to be a factor with a high of 19 degrees tomorrow, which means it’ll be trending towards single digits as the game progresses. That should be an advantage for Chicago.

The path to the Super Bowl for the New England Patriots appears to have gotten much easier with the season-ending injury to Bo Nix, but they’ll need to get past the Houston Texans first. They took down Justin Herbert who had a decimated offensive line, now they get the Texans without Nico Collins, and next week they could be facing Jarrett Stidham. I kind of hope they lose today because of that.
Kickoff is set for Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Mile High time at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts and will air on ESPN.

In a wild one yesterday, the Denver Broncos came out victorious in overtime over the Buffalo Bills. The cost of the victory was brutal, however, with Bo Nix suffering a fractured ankle and is done for the remainder of this season. We all went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in the span of about 30 minutes.
The Broncos must go on to the next one and so we must as well. There were more game ball worthy plays in this game that we could have handed out and the first one is obviously going to...

The Denver Broncos won what may go down as one of their most memorable postseason victories over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, and the vibes were high in Mile High. However, shortly after the victory, Sean Payton announced to the world that quarterback Bo Nix, who led this team to victory, broke a bone in his ankle and would be out for the rest of the season.
Gut punch.
Next man up is preached league-wide, and the Broncos had a share of players step up for them vs. the Bills. Wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught a deep touchdown pass, backup...

Few outside of the Mile High City believed the Denver Broncos would be able to compete against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills this weekend. A lot of that criticism centered around Bo Nix and the Broncos’ offense.
There were reasons why the Broncos were able to pull out an exciting 33-30 overtime win on Saturday. The five turnovers clearly kept the game close as the defense was not able to stop Allen on any drive outside of the turnover drives. He took his team to a score on every other drive. The other reason was none other than Bo...

The Denver Broncos get the biggest win in a decade.
Then, about an hour later, the elation and joy were replaced by utter despondency. That’s when the news came that Broncos quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle and is out for the rest of the season.
Talk about a gut punch.
I still don’t know how to fully comprehend what the heck happened. And I’m not even talking about the 33-30 overtime win over Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
What the heck just happened?
Now the Broncos have to rally around Jarret Stidham, who...

From the highest of highest to the lowest of lows. No less than an hour after helping deliver the Denver Broncos their first playoff win in a decade, Head Coach Sean Payton announced quarterback Bo Nix will be out for the rest of the season due to a broken ankle suffered in their overtime win against the Buffalo Bills.
It’s a major punch to the gut for the team and all of Broncos Country. When you factor in the loss of Nix, alongside injuries to Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, and Alex Forsyth—the prospects of the Broncos’ offense in their AFC...

WHAT A GAME!
The Denver Broncos defeated the Buffalo Bills in an instant classic. The game had multiple turnovers, was back and forth, had multiple big plays, had the refs come into play late, and in the end, the Broncos came away with the win on a game-winning field goal.
My adrenaline is high, my heart is still racing, but I am going to do my best to give you the winners and losers from that game.
The Broncos had some unlikely heroes along with some of the usual suspects, coming up big for them. They also had some loser-worthy...

Terrible news for the Denver Broncos. Head Coach Sean Payton has announced that quarterback Bo Nix suffered a fractured ankle in overtime and will have season-ending surgery on Tuesday.
The announcement came during Payton’s postgame press conference following the Broncos’ thrilling overtime win against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. Nix will have surgery on Tuesday.
Payton said the injury occurred on the third-to-last play in overtime on a little QB keeper at around the 36-yard line. I remember that play it was the one where Nix rushed over to the center of the hash and he was shoved,...

The Denver Broncos hosted the Buffalo Bills at Empower Field at Mile High for the AFC’s Divisional Round Playoff matchup. It was a back-and-forth, action-packed battle. When the clock struck zero in regulation, the Broncos and Bills found themselves tied—heading to overtime to decide who would advance to the AFC Championship Game. And wouldn’t you know it—the Broncos were able to topple the Bills 33-30. Here are some instant reactions from this afternoon’s game.
