It’s that time of year again where players are ranked by their peers in the NFL’s Top 100 from last season. The first Denver Broncos player to make this list is none other than defensive lineman Zach Allen.
Allen has been on the ascent since signing with Denver in free agency in 2023. He has thrived under Vance Joseph’s defensive scheme with two All-Pro selections. He has accumulated 20.5 sacks in three years and 8 passes defensed (batted passes at the line). He has also amassed 111 quarterback hits in three seasons after just 43 in four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. In short, he’s turned into an elite player in the trenches.
His play has been so vital for the interior of the defense that he signed a 4-year, $102 million contract extension last August.
While he may be the first Bronco to make the list, he surely won’t be the last…
