This might be the Bears last shot to beat their nemesis.
For this question, I am looking for your emotional response. I don’t want a practical answer.
I understand that it’s better for the Chicago Bears to beat the Green Bay Packers from a logistical standpoint. It’s a division opponent and a conference opponent, and a victory there is far more beneficial than beating an AFC opponent.
I don’t want to hear about logic, I want your emotional response.
Maybe my viewpoint...

The Bears play the Steelers this year, it’s time to turn the tables on Aaron Rodgers
It’s time to turn the tables.
It’s time to end the madness.
It’s time to give Aaron Rodgers a beatdown.
The NFL schedule came out about a month ago, and if I’m being honest, the team name I looked for first was the Pittsburgh Steelers.
There it was, November 23rd. There was one more piece to the puzzle, and that puzzle fit into place over the last week when free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers signed with the Steelers and was named their starting quarterback....
Jaquan Brisker has a huge year in front of him in the final year of his contract.
As we roll along in our series of the 10 Chicago Bears with the most to prove this season, we’ve reached number nine on our list. Number 10 on our list was running back Roschon Johnson. Number nine on our list is on the defensive side of the ball, and it’s safety Jaquan Brisker.
Brisker made the list last year, as he was a year away from a potential contract extension, and it felt like Brisker needed to make strides in his pass...
The Chicago Bears could enter Week 1 with four new starters along the offensive line. With the three interior additions solidified as starters, who will win the left tackle job?
Over the past decade-plus, the best ways to describe the Chicago Bears’ offensive line play have been far more negative than anything positive. Disappointing. Bad. Really bad. Awful. Worst in the league. All adjectives have been used to describe this group for far too long. When fans ask why young quarterbacks fail in Chicago or why their offenses have consistently been in the bottom half of the league, there’s a...
Check out the debut article from our newest writer, longtime WCG member, Donald Gooch!
I wasn’t born yesterday. And that’s the problem. I, as is true for many of my fellow Chicago Bears fans, have endured years—no, DECADES—of watching our favorite team lurch from mediocrity to almost comical awfulness (if we weren’t Bears fans, we could laugh at the respective befuddled looks on the faces of Trestman, Fox, Nagy, and then Flus in Detroit). As we cycled through, again and again, failed general managers, failed head coaches, and failed QB1s, we have become inured to the repetitive losses. Fans that...

In this series, we look back at the biggest moves from a year ago and review how they have panned out up to this point.
Next up in our 2024 rearview mirror series is Wide Receiver, Keenan Allen.
On Thursday, March 14th, 2024, Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles traded for former Los Angeles Chargers Wide Receiver Keenan Allen in exchange for a 4th round pick (110 overall) in the 2024 NFL draft.
This was coming off a Pro Bowl season where Allen recorded 1243 yards receiving and 7 TDs in just 13 games and was Keenan’s 6th Pro Bowl nod...

The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!

The Chicago Bears held an OTA at Halas Hall earlier today for their rookies, but a handful of young veterans were in attendance, including second-year players Rome Odunze and Caleb Williams.
Head coach Ben Johsnon met the media after the practice, and he talked about his quarterback, saying they’ve been throwing a lot at him all offseason and that Williams has been “getting better in really all facets.”
“We’ll have to sit down as a staff before we leave and when we come back, just to make sure we’re honed in on what direction we want to go altogether,” Johnson...
