Windy City Gridiron
The Major League Baseball All-Star game is typically about as far as you can go in the sports-watching universe to find some Chicago Bears talk.
But Chicago Cubs outfield Pete Crow-Armstrong makes things a little different.
During last night’s All-Star game, PCA was mic’d up during an inning and the broadcasters asked him if he caught Chicago Bears fever last season.
Of course, he was spotted at a few games and was seen alongside Caleb Williams at games this offseason.
It turns out PCA has been a Bears fan much longer.
When asked if his father (a Naperville native), passed along a love of the Bears, Crow-Armstrong answered:
Absolutely he did. He was a huge Bears fan, so I grew up a huge…Devin Hester was my guy. I loved Matt Forte. I still will watch Devin Hester highlights man. So huge Bears fan, through and through.
PCA attended both playoff games.
And who among us can say they won’t stop scrolling when some Hester highlights hit the timeline?
All-Star athletes…they’re just like us!
