But the Jets did not accept their package.

"With Breece Hall, there was an offer on the table for a fourth-round pick for Breece Hall. I was told it was from the Kansas City Chiefs that were willing to trade for Breece Hall. The Jets...

Patriots Release Running Back After Quiet Trade Deadline

Patriots Release Running Back After Quiet Trade Deadline

The New England Patriots were expected to be active at the trade deadline on Tuesday, but the front office ended up standing pat. The only move the team ended up making saw them sign wide receiver Brendan Rice to the practice squad, which led to another player getting released later in the day.

With Kayshon Boutte suffering a hamstring injury that could force him to miss some time, the Pats brought in Rice, who is the son of NFL legend Jerry Rice, as an extra layer of insurance.

Of course, when one player joins the team, another one has to...

Dolphins rumors: The reason Jaylen Waddle stayed put at trade deadline despite Broncos interest

The 2025 Miami Dolphins have been a disaster. They are 2-7 and are coming off a massive blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens, which everyone saw on Thursday Night Football. After Chris Grier and the organization mutually agreed to part ways, the Dolphins got active at the trade deadline. Still, they did not get rid of Jaylen Waddle, making it even more questionable why they did not get a deal done.

Multiple NFL reporters said teams inquired about Waddle, but the Dolphins’ asking price was too high. NFL reporters Jordan Schultz and Connor Hughes reported that the Dolphins [were asking...

Former Bengals captain Logan Wilson shows class following trade to Dallas

Former Bengals captain Logan Wilson shows class following trade to Dallas

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Logan Wilson in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he immediately became a key contributor, starting on the Bengals’ defense that led the Bengals to the Super Bowl and the AFC championship. He was the leader of the defense and immediately felt like a veteran presence even while on his rookie contract.

Even though Wilson still has multiple years left on the extension he signed with the team, they decided to go with youth at the position. They benched Wilson for rookie linebackers Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter.

Carter, especially, seems to have...

Was Jets’ Darren Mougey planning to trade Sauce Gardner all along?

The New York Jets made the two biggest trades of NFL Trade Deadline day, dealing Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner. First was Gardner, who was dealt to the Indianapolis Colts before the extension he signed this offseason even began. Jets rookie GM Darren Mougey spoke about trading Gardner at his post-deadline press conference.

“Darren Mougey on Sauce Gardner, said they structured the contract in a way that it would be a tradeable contract if that sort of opportunity came to pass,” The Athletic’s Zach Rosenblatt reported.

The Jets signed both Gardner and Garrett Wilson before training camp opened in July....

Lions Hosted Three Offensive Linemen For Tryouts

The Detroit Lions hosted three offensive linemen for workouts on Tuesday, including OL Jack Conley, OL Chris Hubbard, and OL Netane Muti.

Hubbard, 34, signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of UAB back in 2013. He spent his first year on the practice squad before returning to the team on two consecutive one-year contracts.

He signed a five-year, $36.5 million contract with the Browns in March of 2018. In 2020, he and the team reworked that deal to make him a free agent in 2022.

Chargers reveal secret DB trade with Jets an hour after deadline passes

Right at the buzzer, the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets have agreed on a trade ahead of the NFL Trade Deadline. The Jets are acquiring defensive back and special-teamer Ja’Sir Taylor, who is a former starter for the Bolts.

The Chargers are receiving a 2028 conditional 7th-round pick in return. This trade will certainly go under the radar; however, this is a move that can really benefit Taylor.

The Jets just traded away Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts for multiple first-round picks and receiver AD Mitchell. That move frees up a spot at cornerback, and Taylor may...
