Joe Milton III is excited about his new opportunity.

Milton, who spent his NFL rookie season with the Patriots, reportedly was traded by New England to Dallas on Thursday morning. Not long after news about the deal broke, the big-armed signal-caller shared his initial thoughts on the move with FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz.

“My family grew up a Cowboys fan,” Milton told Schultz. “My mom always had a Cowboys shirt on. She always talked about them. Living in Texas has been a longtime dream of mine. And now I’m with them. I’m ready to work.”
