Recently, the Green Bay Packers got some rough news when it was revealed that star tight end Tucker Kraft had suffered a torn ACL that will keep him out of the lineup for the remainder of the season. The injury occurred during the Packers’ shocking home loss to the Carolina Panthers over the weekend, which dropped them to 5-2-1 on the 2025 NFL season as it reaches its midway point.
In response to the Kraft news, the Packers made a move on Tuesday to help shore up their depth in the tight end department, in addition to other areas on...

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Cardinals are naming QB Jacoby Brissett their starter for Week 10 against the Seahawks.
With the short week due to their upcoming game on Thursday night, announcing Brissett as the starter now gives them some early clarity.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, QB Kyler Murray is still getting healthy, and HC Jonathan Gannon likes how they are operating with Brissett under center.
Brissett, 32, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. The Patriots traded Brissett to the Colts coming out of the preseason in 2017 in return for WR Phillip Dorsett....
NFL Trade Rumors
The Chargers squeaked in a trade just before the league’s deadline past at 4:00 p.m. ET as it’s being reported they’re trading for Saints offensive lineman Trevor Penning. The deal is for a 2027 sixth round pick and teeters on a passed physical. Penning missed the first three weeks of the season with turf toe.
Penning is a former first-round pick out of the University of Northern Iowa and was originally drafted to play offense tackle. He began as a left tackle for New Orleans but missed 11 games with a torn ligament in his foot. The following year in...
Bolts From The Blue
When all was said and done, the Buffalo Bills were window shoppers from the sideline as the 2025 NFL trade deadline passed. That doesn’t mean general manager Brandon Beane and One Bills Drive sat idle. Reports and rumors leading up to the 4 p.m. EST deadline on November 4 had Buffalo in talks with the Washington Commanders for a pair of household names.
Were the Bills really trying to bring back edge rusher Von Miller? Was a potential deal in place for wide receiver Deebo Samuel? The merits of a reunion with the 36-year-old Miller can and will be debated...

According to Spotrac, new Indianapolis Colts 2x NFL First-Team All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner’s salary cap hits have come in both for the remainder of the 2025 campaign and beyond:
It’s worth noting that the former 4th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft signed a 4-year, $120.4 million contract extension this past offseason before New York shockingly sent him to Indianapolis ahead of Tuesday afternoon’s blockbuster of a trade deadline.
However, as Spotrac notes, the Jets’ unique structuring of Gardner’s recent mega-contract extension allowed for Tuesday’s trade deadline deal, which sent shockwaves throughout league circles and the national media alike:...

Find out which RB is the new favorite for NFL Comeback Player of the Year and which QB saw his odds fall down the board.
The Indianapolis Colts made a massive move to bolster their secondary, acquiring two-time All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets for two first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. The move essentially signals Anthony Richardson’s time is up in Indianapolis.
Gardner immediately upgrades a Colts secondary that has allowed 15 touchdowns and 244.8 yards per game through the air. He signed a four-year, $120.4 million extension with the Jets in July and was traded less than four months later. Gardner has allowed only 10 receptions through seven games, breaking up six passes and giving up two touchdowns.

It was an uneventful Tuesday for the Detroit Lions, as the NFL trade deadline came and went without the Lions getting involved.
The move shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given Lions coach Dan Campbell said last week that he didn’t expect the team to make a move.
“I love where we’re at. I think the roster is—I think it’s healthy, I think it’s in a good position, I think we have depth,” Campbell said.
However, some believed Detroit’s tune would change after Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Not only did the offensive line struggle in that game,...

The 2025 NFL trade deadline has come and gone.
The New England Patriots made two big moves last week, trading edge rusher Keion White and safety Kyle Dugger to the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers, respectively.
New England landed future draft picks in those moves, however and elected not to bring in any new players as they prepare for Week 10.
NFL.com senior news writer Kevin Patra laid out “every team’s biggest need” ahead of Tuesday’s deadline, opining that the Patriots could’ve used a pass rusher.
Furthermore, Patra said that New England could’ve taken its defense to the “next...
