It is the dreaded Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week 2. I really dislike MNF doubleheaders, but the NFL loves the money.

And today’s doubleheader is especially important to the Denver Broncos. They likely need the Los Angeles Chargers to choke and the Las Vegas Raiders to win. A gassed up Raiders team is preferable, especially if they fade down the stretch as most would expect. The Chargers are considered by many as legitimate contenders, so a 2-0 start for them would not be ideal.

In the other game, I’ll take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat the Houston Texans....

There’s not one, but two Monday Night Football games to close out Week 2 of the NFL season.

First up will be the 1-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the 0-1 Texans in Houston at 7 p.m. EST on ABC and ESPN.

At 10 p.m., the 1-0 Los Angeles Chargers will play the 1-0 Raiders in Las Vegas. However, the second game of the doubleheader will only be available on ESPN.

The Chicago Bears’ 31-point loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday was as painful as it got. Many are pointing the finger at coach Ben Johnson for not developing a comprehensive offensive strategy, which led to a poor performance.

Altogether, the Bears turned the ball over numerous times, their offensive line was intact, and they weren’t able to convert on fourth down.
