Aaron Rodgers clearly does not rush before making any major decisions in his life. He’s taking his sweet time this offseason, and to be fair to him, he’s more than earned the right to do so. As of now, though, it’s starting to feel inevitable that Rodgers will end up a Steeler going into the […]
James Pearce Jr. is a talented pass rusher who produced in the SEC.
Happy Tuesday one and all.
With less than a month until the 2025 NFL Draft we are now halfway through our look at the potential players who could be on the Arizona Cardinals big board.
Yesterday we looked at a dominate cornerback out of the SEC and today we look at one of the top pass rushers from the SEC, who had 10 sacks last year and followed up with 7.5 sacks this year.
However, there are some questions that have to be answered.
First lets take...
Get your questions in for Jacob right here or tune in live tonight to ask him anything about the Chicago Bears and the NFL Draft!
Later tonight, our Lead Draft Analyst, Jacob Infante, will be joining me for a T Formation Conversation live stream on our 2nd City Gridiron YouTube channel, and he’ll take all your Chicago Bears/NFL Draft questions.
I wanted to publish this early in case some WCG members wanted to put a few questions for Jacob in the comment section down there, and if so, we’ll kick the show off with those.
I’m sure we’ll spend plenty...
A film session breaking down how the Commanders may view their new additions to the defensive line
The Commanders added four defensive linemen during the initial free agency period. Jake Martin, Eddie Goldman, Deatrich Wise, and Javon Kinlaw were all brought in to help shift the identity of the Washington Commanders’ defensive front. The Commanders hope to eliminate the consistent setting of soft edges and the absence of a true disruptive presence among its interior defensive line. Furthermore, in their search to find an edge rush presence following the loss of Dante Fowler Jr., who produced 10.5 sacks in 2024,...
The six-time Pro Bowl defensive end is considering a return to the Baltimore Ravens.
According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, six-time Pro Bowler Calais Campbell is considering a return to Baltimore as he mulls over his career.
“Campbell, a free agent defensive lineman, is mulling whether he wants to sign with the Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens or another team,” Jackson wrote. “Retirement isn’t out of the question, either.”
On Monday, Miami Dolphins Head Coach spoke on Campbell’s being a free agent.
“Calais, specifically, is in a unique situation where he’s assessing multiple options as a player in the 45th year...
For the third time, Green Bay goes Derrick Harmon in the first round
Folks, we’ve done it. We’ve found our Cooper DeJean of this draft class. We have pinned down the draft crush of Green Bay Packers fans.
For the third straight mock draft, our readership has given the Packers Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon in the first round. With Marshall defensive end Mike Green on the board, I thought there was a good chance that Green Bay would pick up an edge rusher for the first time in our mock draft series, but the voters had other plans.
As...
Sending away a second-round pick as part of the DK Metcalf trade, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a hole in their draft picks. Trading down could fill it. That’s what the Steelers did in Lance Zierlein’s latest mock draft, wheeling and dealing with the Los Angeles Rams to make a rare first-round descent. In Zierlein’s mock, […]
The Tennessee Titans face an interesting choice in the 2025 NFL Draft. Tennessee holds the first overall pick and have plenty of talented players to choose from. One Titans official noted recently that it is still within the realm of possibility to trade away their first-round pick.
Titans President of Football Operations Chad Brinker spoke about the team’s timetable for potentially trading the first overall pick in this year’s draft.
“We’re getting close to that point. We got one more week left as far as pro days, well maybe two weeks of pro days and private workouts,” Brinker said on...
49ers HC Kyle Shanahan spoke about the offensive line and the depth chart at the owner’s meetings on Tuesday
The San Francisco 49ers' depth chart along the offensive line has a hole at left guard. Last season, Spencer Burford was Wally Pipp’d by Dominick Puni at right guard. Burford lost his spot after suffering an injury early on in the preseason and never regained his spot.
Burford wound up playing Week 1 against the New York Jets, but that was at left guard once Aaron Banks went down with an injury. Burford could be a valuable depth piece for the...
The Titans have re-signed special teams ace Justin Hardee to a one-year deal, as first reported by FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz and confirmed by senior team writer Jim Wyatt.
2024 was Hardee’s first year in Tennessee, where he appeared in nine games with 185 snaps exclusively on special teams. He will take up a similar role in 2025 under new special teams coordinator John Fassel, according to Main Street Media’s Terry McCormick.
Originally a wide receiver at Illinois, Hardee converted to cornerback as an undrafted rookie in 2017. He didn’t make the Texans’ 53-man roster, but carved out a special...
Is Pittsburgh Steelers K Chris Boswell criminally underpaid heading into the 2025 season? Personally, I think so and I bet several of you reading this post would agree with me. If Boswell and the Steelers both believe that to be the case, we could see that issue remedied by the start of the 2025 regular […]
April 1 – Ep. 49: On this episode of The Depot Dive, Joe Clark and I dive into the latest on Aaron Rodgers and his throwing session with WR DK Metcalf. We also talk about Mike Tomlin’s flexible stance on a deadline and Art Rooney II’s slightly harsher stance. For the next topic, we discuss […]
