Report: President Donald Trump Wants Commanders’ Stadium Named After Him

Don Van Natta Jr and Adam Schefter of ESPN, citing multiple sources with knowledge of the situation, report that President Donald Trump wants the Commanders to name their new stadium after him.

A senior White House source tells ESPN that there have been backchannel communications with a member of the Commanders ownership group about Trump’s desire to have what is expected to be a $3.7 billion domed stadium on the old RFK Stadium site to be named after him.

“That would be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible,”...

The Falcoholic Reacts: Which rookie has stood out the most?

The Falcoholic Reacts: Which rookie has stood out the most?

For the first time under Terry Fontenot, the Falcons fully dedicated their draft capital towards upgrading the defense. It was the logical move to make following four years of investing top picks at the most prominent offensive positions. Addressing glaring needs at edge rusher and across the secondary was vital toward revamping the defense. The results have been hugely encouraging, with all four players having standout moments and contributing with savvy plays.

If a hamstring injury didn’t derail him, Billy Bowman Jr. would have garnered serious consideration as the most impressive rookie. His playmaking skills, combined with the physical edge...

Reacts Survey Results: Jaguars fans weigh in on Jakobi Meyers trade

Reacts Survey Results: Jaguars fans weigh in on Jakobi Meyers trade

This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans if they liked how the team handled the trade deadline.

83% of fans said yes.

Jacksonville traded a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2026 sixth-round pick to Las Vegas on Tuesday to acquire Jakobi Meyers.

“We’re looking forward to seeing how his skill set fits within the system,” Jaguars general manager James Gladstone said via ESPN. “I think from afar it does. You think about where we’re at in terms of volume of drops, what’s his superpower? It’s not dropping the football, right? So you just take it from the surface level, it...

Latest On Tua Tagovailoa’s Future In Miami

Latest On Tua Tagovailoa’s Future In Miami

Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports wrote about the possibilities that lie ahead for Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa after this season.

Tagovailoa’s contract includes $54 million fully guaranteed in 2026, and he is also due another $3 million guaranteed in March, raising his cap hit to $57 million.

If Miami opted to release him, it would be the biggest dead cap hit in NFL history at $99.2 million. The Dolphins would have to designate Tagovailoa as a June 1st cut to split the dead money between two seasons.

Jones mentions that aside from his contract, there are concerns, such as his...

NFL Week 10 betting advice: Giants-Bears picks and props

Welcome to the New York Giants betting angle, Week 10 edition. Each week, I’m giving you my three favorite wagers for that week’s New York Giants game. My one rule: I won’t ever give you wagers that are less than -120. No gimmies!

The 2-7 Giants head to Chicago to face the 5-3 Bears this week. The teams are on opposite trajectories, with the Giants having lost three in row while the Bears have won four of their last five. Chicago’s first-year head coach Ben Johnson is installing a winning culture, while New York head coach Brian Daboll’s last chance...

2 big Chiefs thoughts during their bye week

2 big Chiefs thoughts during their bye week

The Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week is an excellent time to take stock of where the team now stands. Here’s what I’ve been thinking this week.

  1. It was entirely predictable that the Chiefs wouldn’t make trades

It’s unfortunate. The NFL’s trade deadline happened right after the team’s 28-21 road loss to one of its fiercest AFC rivals: the Buffalo Bills. This — along with the team’s unexpected 5-4 record — amped up everyone’s expectations about what general manager Brett Veach needed to do. And to make things even worse, the team’s fans now have a whole extra week...

Steelers Announce Three Moves, Sign RB Trey Sermon To Active Roster

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Saturday that they’ve signed RB Trey Sermon to their active roster and elevated Mark Robinson from the practice squad.

The Steelers also re-signed LB DeMarvin Leal to their practice squad.

Sermon, 26, is a former third-round pick by the 49ers in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He was among San Francisco’s final roster cuts as a rookie, and he was quickly claimed by the Eagles.

Philadelphia cut Sermon with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and eventually waived him from injured reserve with a settlement. He caught on with the...
