After failing to find a trade partner, the Tennessee Titans have decided to release edge rusher Harold Landry, per NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Landry was a really good player for this franchise. It’s always sad when you see a guy who has been as good for the team come to an end, but there was just no way they were going to pay him the $17.5 million he was owed this year based on how his production had dropped off. The move will save the team just under $11 million against the cap.
Of course, this makes the need the...
Safety is an underrated need for the Titans
Cameron Wolfe said on the NFL Network last night that the Tennessee Titans are expected to have interest in safety Jevon Holland. The 25-year-old safety is expected to have a robust market and could command up to $20 million per year when he signs somewhere next week. He spent the first four years of his career with the Miami Dolphins.
Safety is really an underrated need for the Titans. We have spent most of the offseason talking about the need at quarterback, at EDGE, and on the offensive line, but safety is...
The Tennessee Titans had an outstanding opportunity to assess Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward at the 2025 NFL Combine. Though Ward did not participate athletically or in throwing drills, it represented the Titans’ first opportunity to assess their potential No. 1 overall selection up close and personal.
Ward impressed the Titans during his media session. Unsurprisingly, he was frequently asked questions about Tennessee. He displayed strong knowledge of head coach Brian Callahan and his offense, even claiming some of the offensive concepts are similar to what he executed at Miami this past season.
Though Ward did not participate in Saturday...
It is going to be an interesting March.
Matthew Berry wrote an article he titled 25 most interesting things he heard at the 2025 NFL Combine today. There were a few interesting things about the Tennessee Titans in there:
Titans add some experience to their offensive coaching staff.
Paul Kuharsky is reporting that the Tennessee Titans are hiring veteran coach Mike McCoy as an offensive assistant. McCoy has ties to this coaching staff as he was on the same staff as Brian Callahan with the Denver Broncos and on the same staff as offensive coordinator Nick Holz with the Jacksonville Jaguars. McCoy was the head coach of the then-San Diego Chargers from 2013-2016. He compiled a 28-38 record there.
It is never a bad thing to hire guys who have experience to the coaching staff, especially when you have...
Would the Tennessee Titans have interest in Derek Carr?
The Tennessee Titans are sorting through their quarterback plans for the 2025 NFL season. Now’s the time to start making the biggest decision they’ll make this offseason. The NFL Combine just wrapped up and they’re set to host top quarterback prospects Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders on pre-draft visits this week, per Paul Kuharsky.
Free agency also begins in less than two weeks. If the Titans aren’t convinced by Ward and Sanders throughout this pre-draft process, Mike Borgonzi has to sign a veteran quarterback to at least compete with Will Levis...
The Tennessee Titans entered the NFL Combine searching for some clarity regarding their plans with the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, an injury to one player may have further complicated matters.
Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter did not participate athletically at the NFL Combine due to a shoulder injury suffered against Boise State during the College Football Playoff. The issue is described as minor, but considering Carter hasn’t played a football game since January 9th, nearly two months ago, it was enough to keep him sidelined in Indianapolis.
It’s also worth acknowledging that any minor...
