Titans coaching search: Tennessee reportedly interested in Lane Kiffin

Titans coaching search: Tennessee reportedly interested in Lane Kiffin

Every year, Lane Kiffin is one of the hottest names in college football coaching searches. Kiffin went through a lot of ups and downs as a young coach, but has really settled in at Ole Miss and done a fantastic job there. He is in his sixth season in Oxford and has compiled a 53-19 record there.

Bruce Feldman wrote about Kiffin and the open college jobs today, but included this nugget in his article:

This situation seems to be trending in a positive direction for Rebels fans who would like to keep their coach, but one note of...

Titans news: You probably can’t watch the game on Sunday

Titans news: You probably can’t watch the game on Sunday

There have been times in the past when a Tennessee Titans game didn’t get broadcast to the entire state. I remember there being a lot of discussion about games not being on in the Memphis area at times when the Titans weren’t very good. This week, it looks like they have hit a new low with the game only being broadcast in middle Tennessee:

This is a really bad look for the Titans organization because the networks think they will get better ratings showing other games in East and West Tennessee. The networks are probably right. At this point, they...

How would you feel if the Titans hired Matt Nagy as their next HC?

How would you feel if the Titans hired Matt Nagy as their next HC?

The Tennessee Titans won’t officially begin their coaching search until January. Until then, it’ll remain one of the more talked-about and exciting events in the Titans’ upcoming offseason timeline. There isn’t real-time excitement with the Nashville-based club sporting an NFL-worst 1-8 record.

We analyzed Matt LaFleur’s potential candidacy on Monday after reports emerged out of Green Bay that he’s coaching for his job. Kevin Stefanski could be another surprise candidate. Arthur Smith, Mike McCarthy, and Robert Saleh have been mentioned.

Another recurring name that gets constantly mentioned is current Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. Nagy’s ties to the...

A couple of Key Titans return to practice; Jeffery Simmons still out

The Tennessee Titans were officially on the practice field for the first time since their bye today. Jeffery Simmons was still unable to practice due to a hamstring injury. Hopefully, that was just a precautionary measure, and he will be able to get on the practice field tomorrow.

Calvin Ridley and Arden Key were both listed as limited participants. It would seem that gives them both a chance to be back for the game Sunday against the Houston Texans. Cam Ward needs Ridley out there in a bad way, well, assuming he gets the Ridley that can catch the football....

Could Matt LaFleur become a Titans coaching candidate?

Could Matt LaFleur become a Titans coaching candidate?

The Tennessee Titans remain in the incredibly early stages of their head coaching search. General manager Mike Borgonzi confirmed as much during last week’s post-trade deadline press conference. The Titans aren’t even fully aware of which candidates will be considered available.

Matt Nagy and Arthur Smith have been mentioned as potential candidates. Nagy has ties to Borgonzi through Kansas City, and Smith obviously has ties to the organization through his stint as offensive coordinator. Meanwhile the conversation on hot-shot coordinator candidates is changing every week.

Joe Brady isn’t looking as popular. The New York Giants fired Brian Daboll and made...

Titans 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft: trading down

Titans 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft: trading down

The Tennessee Titans moved up the No. 1 pick in the live 2026 NFL Draft order during their Week 10 bye week. Victories by the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints on Sunday greatly improved the Titans’ current draft positioning.

With that in mind, we conducted a three-round Titans mock draft using The Draft Network’s Mock Draft Machine (MDM).

Round 1 (No. 4 overall): Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami

trade: Titans acquire No 4, 2026 third-round pick (No. 69), 2027 first-round pick
trade: Browns acquire No. 1 overall

The Titans trade down with the QB-needy Cleveland Browns at...

Titans make roster moves ahead of Texans game

The Tennessee Titans announced this morning that they have opened the return window for running back Kalel Mullings and safety Mike Brown. That means they will have three weeks to either activate them or place them on season ending Injured Reserve. Mullings has been on IR since early October because of an ankle injury. When Mullings is back, I’d like to see him get some run on offense. The Titans’ running back room will most likely look a lot different next year. Tony Pollard probably isn’t back next year, and Tyjae Spears is in the final year of his rookie...

2026 NFL mock draft: What do the Titans do with the first pick?

2026 NFL mock draft: What do the Titans do with the first pick?

Yesterday was a good day for the Tennessee Titans. The New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns all won. That leaves the Titans as the only one-win team in the NFL. It’s still an uphill battle for the Titans to get the first pick. They have the strongest strength of schedule against of any team picking in the top ten. They also still have games against the Browns and Saints.

I hate cheering against the Titans this early in the season. Hopefully, the Browns, Saints, and Jets can all pick up a couple more wins so the Titans...

Titans opening odds: Tennessee opens as 7.5-point home underdog against the Texans

The Tennessee Titans had their best week since the win over the Arizona Cardinals this week. They saw the New York Jets, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns all win. That gives the Titans a full game lead in the quest for the number one overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They will look to keep the first overall pick this week against the Houston Texans. The Titans are currently a 7.5-point underdog over at FanDuel Sportsbook.

While the Titans were off this week, the Texans scored 26 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars...

2026 NFL Draft order: The Titans currently hold the first pick

It is a rare occurrence, saved for only the truly bad NFL franchises to hold the first overall pick in back-to-back NFL Drafts. It has only happened four times since 1986. The Tennessee Titans are currently on track to make it happen for the fifth time. With both the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints winning today, the Titans currently hold the first pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Here is the current draft order for the 2026 NFL Draft:

  1. Tennessee Titans 1-8
  2. New Orleans Saints 2-8
  3. New York Giants 2-8
  4. Cleveland Browns 2-7...

Titans fans not happy with the trade deadline results

Titans fans not happy with the trade deadline results

There was so much talk leading up to the NFL trade deadline about all of the moves the Tennessee Titans were going to make. There were so many players rumored to possibly be moved, like Arden Key, Chig Okonkwo, Roger McCreary, Dre’Mont Jones, Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard, and even Jeffery Simmons. In the end, only McCreary and Jones were moved at the deadline. The Titans only added one pick because the McCreary deal involved a pick swap.

This week, we asked if you were happy with what the Titans did at the deadline, and only 30% were:

It is hard...
