For the first time this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost a game started by QB Russell Wilson. The Steelers went to Cleveland and fell to the Browns, 24-19, in what ended up a snowstorm. It was a disappointment for a Steelers team looking to build on a big win over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday. […]

The Browns star didn’t hold back
The Steelers were dealt their third loss on Thursday night when the Browns defeated Pittsburgh 24-19. Cleveland earned the victory in large part because their star edge rusher showed up while Pittsburgh’s pass rush did not.
Myles Garrett finished the game with three sacks and a forced fumble and was one of the Browns’ top difference-makers in their win. He had some words for the Steelers, Steelers fans, and T.J. Watt after the game.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for [Watt], a lot of respect for all of the guys over there... but...
The Steelers’ star seemed spiteful after the game
The Pittsburgh Steelers nearly completed a 12-point fourth-quarter comeback win over the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. A Calvin Austin touchdown grab put them on top 19-18 after going down 18-6 following a Jameis Winston touchdown run. Unfortunately, the Steelers’ defense allowed the Browns to score with less than a minute left and Pittsburgh fell to 8-3.
Following the clock hitting triple zeroes, receiver George Pickens and Browns cornerback Greg Newsome got into a fight that had to be broken up and the two men had to be separated. Following the game,...
Fans of the Steel City, while upset that the Pittsburgh Steelers were ultimately defeated in Week 12’s Thursday Night Football matchup, were almost treated to a second contest following the game: a potentially major physical altercation between Steelers WR George Pickens and Browns CB Greg Newsome II.
Following the failed Hail Mary attempt that sealed the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defeat, Pickens showcased his best MMA impression, trying to take Newsome down. During the skirmish, Pickens was seen ripping at Newsome’s face mask and attempting to ram him into the stands before they were restrained by security.
After the Week 12 contest,...
George Pickens is taking a lot of heat today due to some on-field antics after the final whistle Thursday night in Cleveland, followed by some questionable comments in the locker room. Because he’s had similar issues in the past, it is just a reinforcement of his labels that has been affixed to him. And it […]
George Pickens had a fine game against the Cleveland Browns, but he let his emotions get the better of him too often. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost, 24-19, and he did not control his temper. His outburst at the end of the game was not a good look. The comments he made were just as bad, […]

CLEVELAND — The Thursday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns hinged on a critical call in the fourth quarter, when Browns quarterback Jameis Winston threw up a wobbly pass that ended up hitting his own offensive line.
Two officials dropped flags on the play, and chaos ensued, as the Steelers seemed unsure as to what the call on the field was, before ultimately burning a timeout on defense.
The officiating crew ended up calling illegal touching on Browns center Ethan...
Thursday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns was one of fourth-down aggressiveness. In one part belief in each other’s offenses. The other part impacted by weather, a second half that turned into a snowy mess. Ahead 10-6 early in the fourth quarter and facing 4th and goal from the Steelers’ 2-yard line, […]
Things did not go well for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12. They should’ve beaten the Cleveland Browns, but they got in their own way too much. They are still 8-3. This doesn’t collapse their season. However, if they allow the problems that plagued them against the Browns to continue, they could be in trouble. […]
The post Steelers Rush Attack Not Pointing Fingers After Struggles vs. Browns appeared first on Steelers Now.
CLEVELAND — The Pittsburgh Steelers have had one of the best rush attacks in the NFL. In fact, they’re currently averaging the eighth-most rushing yards per game (135.2) in the league. That wasn’t the case in the team’s 24-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns on “Thursday Night Football,” though.
The Steelers didn’t have a player rush for more than 45 yards while averaging just 3.5 yards per carry on 34 attempts. Running back Jaylen Warren, who led the team with 45 yards and...
The Cleveland Browns’ final possession Thursday night was full of referee intervention, but none of the calls quite broke the Pittsburgh Steelers’ way. The most notable penalty, and one that likely would have won the game for the Steelers, was the lack of an intentional grounding penalty on third down. It would have made it […]
