The Steelers’ defense has been dominant through the first two weeks of training camp
The Pittsburgh Steelers are approaching two weeks in Latrobe for training camp, and the story of camp thus far has been the dominance of the defense. Per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive, Pittsburgh’s offense couldn’t get much going on Sunday against the defense.
“Offense getting blown back for much of these team run periods,” Farabaugh posted on X. “Defense continuing to show out today. Have won most of these matchups in camp.”
Farabaugh also pointed out that seven-on-sevens were “frustrating” for Rodgers, who missed on two throws...
Hey Steelers Fans. Welcome to Monday!
Soft tissue injuries… Stop me if you’ve heard about these before. For whatever reason, they seem to be more common among the Pittsburgh Steelers than other teams. I don’t have the stats on that but the optics are hard to ignore. Broderick Jones has been battling a groin injury and he was joined with the same injury by Alex Highsmith.
At this time, we don’t know how severe Highsmith’s injury is but there is a serious concern here. It’s the third time he’s dealt with this. He did the same thing...
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan is very excited about one of their late additions in this year’s draft.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping they landed several impact players in the 2025 NFL Draft. Luckily, that already is looking to be the case for one of their late-round selections.
Steelers general manager Omar Khan couldn’t help but praise defensive tackle Yahya Black, their fifth-round pick, following the first couple weeks of training camp.
“He’s great. He’s been what we expect him to be,” Khan said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “I think he’s only gonna get better. We feel fortunate that...
The Pittsburgh Steelers have their work cut out for them if they plan on continuing to be a run-first football team. If training camp is any indication, that isn’t coming so naturally to them with some lackluster days since the pads came on. “The offense had a hell of a time running the ball against […]
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has a vision of what an offense should look like. It’s built around the running game, utilizes a lot of play-action passing, and has guys who are physical at the point of contact, wearing defenders down. That’s his ideal setup. But it’s not always been that way for him […]
UNITY TWP., Pa. — Massive Pittsburgh Steelers rookie offensive tackle Gareth Warren missed practice on Sunday with a left leg ailment.
Warren was spotted out of uniform during the padded practice session on Sunday, the 10th of camp. He was wearing a compression sleeve over his left leg.
Missed this one earlier, but #Steelers rookie OT Gareth Warren is also not uniform. Has a sleeve on his left leg. pic.twitter.com/1O36xxkmty

The Steelers had just gotten their offensive line back to full health before Warren’s injury, with left tackle Broderick Jones...
The Steelers have once again assembled the costliest defense in the NFL, but are they finally also the best defense? Nick Herbig thinks so, or at least that it’s time for them to live up to their full potential. Now in his third season with the unit, he believes they are ready to take off. […]
With a potential need or another high-end receiver, and having some cap space to work with, along with a projected boatload of 2026 draft picks, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves speculated about as a potential destination regarding Washington Commanders’ wide receiver Terry McLaurin. McLaurin, who requested a trade last week from the Commanders while in […]
Veteran DT Breiden Fehoko might be retired right now if the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t come calling. Speaking to reporters over the weekend about signing, he said he fielded calls from other teams. Until the 412 popped up on his phone, though, he was content to just live his life and appreciate fatherhood. “I’ll never be […]
New Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf is already impressed with what he’s seen on the other side of the ball in Pittsburgh.
“I think they’re the best defense I’ve ever seen,” Metcalf said during a recent interview with NFL Network’s Steve Smith and Ian Rapoport.
It’s a bold claim from a player who spent the first five years of his career in Seattle, regularly practicing against competitive defensive units. But based on the talent the Steelers have assembled, Metcalf’s praise may be more truth than exaggeration.
Pittsburgh’s defense has undergone a major transformation this offseason. The team used its first-round...
This time last season, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen was raving about rookie linebacker Payton Wilson. Fast forward one year, and with Wilson slated to be the full-time starter next to him in 2025, Queen continues to sing his praises. Speaking to reporters Sunday after training camp practice at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Queen […]
Player: DL Yahya Black Stock Value: Up Reasoning: Rookie DL Yahya Black is already earning praise, and less so for his size than for his relentless motor. Already fitting the bill for a Steelers defensive lineman, he doesn’t stop until the play is over. Chasing a screen to the sideline, he isn’t afraid to make […]
