The Las Vegas Raiders began their OTA sessions this week and new head coach Klint Kubiak spoke to the media on Wednesday.

As expected, veteran addition Kirk Cousins was working with the first-team offense Wednesday. Fernando Mendoza, the No. 1 overall draft pick, was working mostly with rookies, which is expected.

Expect Mendoza’s time with the veterans to increase, perhaps in the June mandatory minicamp and certainly in training camp. Kubiak said he has no timeline set for naming a starting quarterback, but he noted training camp will be vital.

The Las Vegas Raiders depth at the pass-rusher position will look differently this season after a couple of recent moves.
