The Las Vegas Raiders had ample opportunity to bolster the wide receiver room this offseason.
First came free agency in mid-March and the Silver & Black inked Jalen Nailor and Dareke Young. The pair of wide receiver additions did little to move the needle for many. So much so, we questioned should the Raiders add another veteran wideout just three days into the free agency market opening.
But alas, the 2026 NFL Draft was the following month at the tail end of April and if the wide receiver room indeed needed bolstering, it would come then. It took 195 selections...

The NFL Draft wrapped up a little under 2 weeks ago, and Las Vegas slotted in 10 rookies, plus a magnitude of undrafted rookies. It’s not too soon to start scouting for the 2027 NFL Draft, and while things will change drastically, the work in the buildings has already begun, and will only continue to evolve over summer into the season. Las Vegas’ needs will change drastically, the roster will change, and players will surprise or disappoint. The 2027 NFL Draft is excellent, the talent is deep from quarterback to safety, and I’ll break down those players over the summer...

A pair of new Las Vegas Raiders defensive backs are long to win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
The Raiders took Arizona safety Treydan Stukes in the second round (No. 38) and they selected Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy with the first pick of the fourth round (No. 101).
According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, both are big longshots to win the award. Stukes is priced at 75-1 and McCoy is priced at 80-1.
McCoy, of course, would have much lower (better) odds had he been healthy. He was considered a top-10 talent, but he is dealing...

John Spytek talked about the UFL when asked before the draft, and the Las Vegas Raiders haven’t signed a UFL player in nearly 2-3 seasons. UFL players have shown an ability to bounce back to the NFL level, especially on special teams with Jake Bates, Brandon Aubrey, and Kevontae Turpin. Other including Vikings DT Jalen Redmond, who logged 51 pressures & 5 sacks last season, Falcons LB Ronnie Perkins, Patriots T Yasir Durant, and Broncos LB Dondrea Tillman. The Raiders are going to consistently churn their roster, looking for the best possible players that can make an impact, as GM...

After adding Fernando Mendoza to the roster at the top of the 2026 NFL draft, the Las Vegas Raiders didn’t want to take any chances when it comes to protecting their new quarterback. So, while former Texas A&M offensive lineman Trey Zuhn III likely won’t be a day-one starter, the Raiders used their second third-round pick of the draft on him to provide some Mendoza insurance.
Zuhn’s stock shot up after the Aggies’ pro day, as he’s a very good athlete and tested extremely well to earn a 9.99 out of 10 Relative Athletic Score. That shows up in his...

Everyone loves late-round draft steals.
But it’s not always easy to accomplish. For every Maxx Crosby, there are a dozen Day 3 picks who flame out.
A recent X post by NFL Researcher shows how difficult it is to score big on players drafted from rounds four through seven.
The formula was players who were drafted in the final four rounds in the past five season to start 10 plus games in the 2025 season. Here is the list:
So, it shows, it can be difficult to turn late-round picks into solid starters.
Let’s see how the Raiders’ 2025 third-day...
