Las Vegas Raiders rookie WR Jack Bech is hoping to contribute early in 2025
The Las Vegas Raiders were one of the worst passing offenses in 2024. Playing three quarterbacks during the season, the offense never threatened the opposing team. It left the defense out to try and help lead to a 4-13 season.
John Spytek went to work in the draft, adding offensive players to help elevate the offensive side of the ball. He drafted two wide receivers who were big-play threats during their college football careers. One of them is Jack Bech, a former tight end who had...
Las Vegas bolsters experience in a group that has Elandon Roberts, Devin White as top two options
Out with the old and in with the ... old?
That’s said in jest, but on the surface, that’s the gist of the Las Vegas Raiders inking veteran linebacker Jaylon Smith to a contract this past Monday. The Silver & Black’s linebacker room was light on experience with veterans Elandon Roberts and Devin White as the current frontrunners at the position group.
The 29-year-old Smith adds another linebacker who has a bevy of games and starts and it’s a return to the desert...

The offseason is winding down with free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror as the Las Vegas Raiders gear up for OTAs next week. So, like last week, our mailbag column will focus on an offseason review of the Raiders’ moves this spring.
Q: Do you think the defense has enough horses to improve from last year? Feels like the Raiders lost more on that side of the ball than they gained.
A: This is one of my concerns about the roster heading into the season. As I’ve mentioned...
Opponents will have more time off this season
The NFL released its schedule for the 2025 NFL season, and the league’s schedule makers didn’t do the Las Vegas Raiders any favors when it comes to rest this season.
According to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis, the Raiders will only play one game with more time between games than their opponent, while having six contests with less rest than their opponent.
Even after Las Vegas’ bye week, the team won’t have a rest advantage. The Raiders play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 after the bye, and both clubs will...

Going game-by-game through the 2025 schedule
With a new regime led by head coach Pete Carroll and a new quarterback in Geno Smith, there’s plenty of optimism heading into the 2025 NFL season for the Las Vegas Raiders. Now that we know the Raiders’ 2025 schedule, let’s go game-by-game and make a way-too-early record prediction.
Las Vegas kicks off the campaign with a battle between two teams coming off 4-13 performances and who have new head coaches. Mike Vrabel and New England are currently favored to win by 1.5 points, but Carroll and the Raiders...

Website think running back could be made expendable
It is not unusual for teams plans to change about certain player as the result of the draft and veterans could be made expendable quickly.
But Raheem Mostert?
This soon?
According to Pro Football Network, which sent out a list of players from each team that could be cut or traded, it may be the case. The website identified Mostert as the player on the Raiders’ roster who is most likely to be traded or released because of the draft.
Las Vegas, of course, selected Boise State star running Ashton Jeanty with...
