Hello everyone.
It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell all of you that I will be back this season, slowly eliminating your remaining dozen brain cells week by week.
Just in the nick of time for the season opener, I will again be regaling everyone with my irrefragable predictions for the upcoming year.
It begins now.
Let’s start positive:
Oliver Ignatius Gordon (I’m forced to assume) was the 2023 Doak Walker Award winner at Oklahoma State, putting up 1,732 yards and 21 touchdowns en route to...
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Dolphins fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Heading into the start of the season, we want to know how you’re feeling about the Dolphins. Every week of the season we will ask fans if they are confident the team is headed in the right direction and more of the most pressing questions facing the coming game. Let us know what you think!
It’s really hard to believe that we are entering Tua Tagovailoa’s sixth season with the Miami Dolphins. It seems just like yesterday he was drafted by the team to be their franchise quarterback. While Tua has shown flashes of brilliance, his big negative dates back to his college plays days when he was frequently injured. Since entering the NFL, Tua has also sustained three concussions and has missed time with a hip injury. The Dolphins enter a critical season, where seats may be hot. This team will only go as far as Tua can take them. If they struggle and...
For those of you who are new or newer to the site, like with last evening’s post, I ask this evening’s question each week our Miami Dolphins have a game unless we have already played the team once this season, as with a divisional opponent. The follow up post for this and last evenings post will be posted Saturday evening before the game. If you missed last evening’s post feel free to go back and add your predictions for this weeks game between your Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts.
So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:
...
Earlier this summer, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa raised some eyebrows when speaking about his relationship with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The 27-year-old signal caller claimed the two were still working on rebuilding their rapport.
Following the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss to the New York Jets in 2024, Hill proclaimed to the media that he wanted out of Miami. He would later walk-back those remarks, but many wondered how his comments would affect relationships with his teammates, including Tagovailoa. Some even wondered if the wide receiver would be traded to another club.
Hill was not traded and will ultimately...
The Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts have released their first injury reports of the 2025 NFL season as they prepare for a Week 1 meeting. The Dolphins head north to visit the Colts, with kickoff set for Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern. The injury reports are very different heading into the game.
The Colts enter the week with just one name on the report: running back Tyler Goodson. An elbow injury limited Goodson in Wednesday’s practice. Otherwise, the Colts seem healthy for their first game.
On the other sideline, the Dolphins are dealing with a myriad of injuries. A dozen...
As we continue to inch closer and closer to the beginning of the Miami Dolphins regular season on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, team leaders continue to speak about a culture shift happening within the storied South Florida franchise.
Tuesday night, the Dolphins released the inaugural episode of their behind-the-scenes YouTube show, Under the Sun.
Within the first few minutes, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa began talking about how the 2025 version of the Dolphins differs from past versions coached by Mike McDaniel.
“*I would say I’m pretty excited about the challenges that we’re going to see. I want to see...
The Miami Dolphins kick off their 2025 season against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday and will be looking to get their fifth consecutive season opener win. That means Mike McDaniel hasn’t lost a season opener since becoming the Dolphins head coach and he cannot afford a slow start this season. Overall, the Dolphins have done pretty well historically on opening weekend with a record of 33-25-1.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.

After the long, painful wait, our Miami Dolphins will once again play meaningful football this coming Sunday. I am not sure if I will be as nervous as I was about my Canes pre-games, but hopefully this game works out just as well. For those of you who may be new to the site, I put up these posts pregame, with the follow-up post on Saturday evening before the game.
So this evening’s Phinsider Question Of The Day is:
**What are your predicitons for this coming weekend’s game between our Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts? You can predict...
It seems like these days all you have to do is throw a rock and you’ll hit someone who has something negative to say about the Miami Dolphins. Sure, after going 8-9 last season and missing out on the playoffs for the first time in the Mike McDaniel head coaching era, it’s easy to hurl criticism at the coaches, players and even the fans of the Dolphins.
Well, unfortunately, I come bearing bad news. Another publication has come out claiming the boys in aqua and orange are one of the worst teams in the National Football League.
Today, ProFootballTalk released...
With the Miami Dolphins 2025 regular season set to kick off this Sunday against the Colts in Indianapolis, it’s time to take a look back at a very busy offseason for the storied franchise — specifically, it’s time to pore over the Orange Jersey Award list to see what we can learn from the winners.
There were a total of 22 winners this offseason. Nine times, an offensive player won the award, which means that on 13 occasions, a defensive player was the one recognized for outstanding performance.
Of the nine days an offensive player took home the award, only...
Hard to believe that football is back this weekend when the Miami Dolphins take the field against the Indianapolis Colts. Analysts aren’t too high on the Dolphins this upcoming season, but they should be a completive team provided they can stay healthy. That’s the main problem with this roster, a lot of their star players are too injury prone. If those start stacking up, we could be in for a long season. But let’s look on the plus side. The offensive unit still has a ton of playmakers and will be able to keep the Dolphins in games.
You can...
