Your Best & Worst Moments As A Dolphins Fan

This past week, I asked about your fandom of the team.

What are your best and worst moments as a Miami Dolphins fan? This can be a game, a season, or just a single play that you experienced as a fan, or any other memories that you have that are tied to the team and your fandom.

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

Dolphins sign tryout player from rookie minicamp

Dolphins sign tryout player from rookie minicamp

The Miami Dolphins recently added 13 new players via the 2026 NFL Draft, plus a slew of undrafted free agents following its conclusion. On Monday, they signed another player following his tryout during the team’s rookie minicamp last Friday and Saturday.

DJ Herman — former linebacker and fullback for the San Diego State Aztecs — inked a deal with Miami today. The team announced his position as fullback during the official announcement, yet highlighted his defensive and special teams play at the same time.

“Herman participated in Miami’s rookie minicamp last weekend on a tryout basis. He played collegiately...

Kadyn Proctor not sweating position change for Miami Dolphins

Kadyn Proctor not sweating position change for Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins sent a message to the the rest of the National Football League last month when they made Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor their first pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The team wants to be big, physical and nasty in the trenches.

However, Proctor earned his stripes at Alabama as an offensive tackle, not an offensive guard — a spot where Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has already stated the 6’7”, 352 lb behemoth will begin his career.

So, is the 20 year old physical dynamo feeling queasy about playing guard at the pro level?

“No....

When will the rookies sign – The Splash Zone 5/11/26

When will the rookies sign – The Splash Zone 5/11/26

With rookie minicamp done, the next time we’ll see the players is during organized team activities which will begin on May 18th. The Miami Dolphins can also now focus on getting their draft class signed as they are one of three teams who has yet to sign anyone from their class yet. That really shouldn’t be surprising news with the Dolphins salary cap situation. While the team could sign their later round selections, their top selections might have to wait till after June 1st as the Dolphins will get some salary cap relief (20 million).

Miami Dolphins Fans On Malik Willis’ One Season Opportunity

Miami Dolphins Fans On Malik Willis’ One Season Opportunity

When Malik Willis was signed by our Miami Dolphins in this year’s free agency cycle, the fair assumption was/is that he is the starter for the team’s 2026-2027 season. There is also a widely held point of view among fans and the NFL media types that while the Dolphins hope that Willis will show out this coming season, thus presenting himself as the long-term answer at starting quarterback, the team will still likely or at least possibly use what is assumed to be a high pick next year, on a top first-round quarterback.

With that in mind, I asked the...

The numbers behind a new contract for De’Von Achane

The numbers behind a new contract for De’Von Achane

De’Von Achane wants a new contract.

The Miami Dolphins want to re-sign De’Von Achane.

So, what’s the hold-up? To answer that, we need to look at the bigger picture.

In 2025, Achane rushed for 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns, and caught 67 passes for 480 yards and four receiving touchdowns. A stellar year by all accounts, and one that established himself among the NFL’s best running backs.

But while his production is elite, his salary lags far behind. As a 3rd-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, Achane’s base salary is just over $1 million per year. This is great...

Can all 13 draft picks realistically make the roster – The Splash Zone 5/9/26

Can all 13 draft picks realistically make the roster – The Splash Zone 5/9/26

The Miami Dolphins made 13 selections during the NFL Draft, which was the largest class in the league. With the youth movement going on in Miami, how many of those selections will end up making the team? In an ideal world, all of them would and that would be a heck of a way for the Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley era to begin. A case can be made for each player on making this roster, but it will be a tough feat for all of them to make it. Seydou Traore is one of those players who is viewed...

Dolphins announce undrafted free agent signings

Dolphins announce undrafted free agent signings

The Miami Dolphins announced their undrafted free agent signings on Friday. The team is holding its rookie minicamp over the weekend, a set of practice sessions that will include the team’s drafted rookies, the undrafted free agent signings, and players invited to tryout for the team. The team can also have five “first-year” players, attend rookie minicamp. First-year players are defined as players who, while being a rookie last year, did not see enough playing time to earn credit to accrue a season in the NFL.

The players signed by the Dolphins are:

Mark Gronowski, quarterback, Iowa

Anthony Hankerson, running...

Former college quarterback tries out for Miami Dolphins at wide receiver

Former college quarterback tries out for Miami Dolphins at wide receiver

The Miami Dolphins began their rookie minicamp on Friday — hosting all 13 picks from the 2026 NFL Draft, plus a slew of undrafted free agent signings and camp invitees. One of those invitees is former Boston College and Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos — however, he’s not throwing balls in Miami Gardens today.

He’s catching them.

Castellanos was invited to try out as a wide receiver for Miami this weekend due to his speed and playmaking ability. In 2023 with Boston College, the former quarterback threw for 2,248 yards and 15 touchdowns, but rushed the ball 215 times for...

Which rookies can make an immediate impact – The Splash Zone 5/8/26

The Miami Dolphins made 13 selections in the NFL Draft two weeks ago and they will need a couple of those rookies to start right away. Their first three picks in Kadyn Proctor, Chris Johnson, and Jacob Rodriguez should claim starting jobs over the next couple of months. Proctor should likely be the starter at right guard while Chris Johnson should slide right into being one of the Dolphins starting cornerbacks. Rodriguez will have to battle Tyrel Dodson but has all the traits of a future leader for this Miami team.

You can check out that story here, and the...

Miami Dolphins Discussion: Best/Worst Moment Edition

The Phinsider has a nice cross-section of Miami Dolphins fans, from those of us who were fans from the very beginning or near the beginning of the franchise, to those who only became fans in more recent seasons. Those differences in time, as fans of this franchise, also give us a different perspective on a variety of issues and subjects surrounding the team. For example, if you have been around since the late 60s or early 70s, your best moments might be one of the Super Bowl Champion seasons. If you are not even old enough to have possibly seen...
