Huh.

I’m not going to bother trying to find silver linings for the team since they didn’t bother to play any football for me.

I do have one positive for my personal life in that I’ll be saving a good chunk of money by no longer going to the Dolphins v. Browns game in Cleveland. So that’s something.

On Tuesday, it was announced my multiple NFL media members that Miami had signed offensive guard Cole Strange off of the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad. Strange spent three seasons with the New England Patriots after being their first-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Patriots cut Strange this summer before he found a home on the Browns’ practice squad.

After waiting many long months to see how the Dolphins would respond to a disappointing 8-9 finish in head coach Mike McDaniel’s third year, Miami came out and showed why many supporters of the franchise predicted he would be the first coach fired on the year. While some pushed back on that idea, Sunday’s loss did not give those fans any ammunition when debating the ones who want to see heads roll.
