Miami Dolphins Fans On Media Bias

Miami Dolphins Fans On Media Bias

Last week I asked the following question about the Miami Dolphins fan base’s take on media bias against the team:

If you ever did in the first place, do you believe that the national media still shows utter disrespect for the Miami Dolphins, and if so, do you believe that this is deserved, earned, or just regional bias against a team that resides in a place that most of them wish they could actually live?

Below are some of your takes and answers to the PQOTD-

Miami Dolphins waive two players; add two more

Miami Dolphins waive two players; add two more

The Miami Dolphins and new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan continue to churn the team’s roster in a continued effort to rebuild the franchise. On Thursday, the organization parted ways with two players while adding two more.

Offensive lineman Braeden Daniels and tight end Jalin Conyers were waived, while running back Carlos Washington Jr. and offensive tackle Marques Cox were signed.

Daniels — formerly a fourth round pick for the Washington Commanders in the 2023 NFL Draft — never played a snap for the Dolphins, but spent time on the team’s practice squad in 2025. Conyers was an undrafted free agent...

Miami Dolphins rookies host Special Olympics athletes

The Miami Dolphins had a robust 2026 NFL Draft class — welcoming 13 new draftees to the organization as well as a plethora of undrafted free agents. On Wednesday, those new players had an opportunity to welcome more than fifty Special Olympics athletes to the team’s practice facility for games, autographs and photos.

Travis Wingfield — host of the Drive Time Podcast and Dolphins media member — spoke with multiple Dolphins rookies about what it meant to them to have a chance to give back to the welcoming South Florida community.

Your Next Miami Dolphins Jersey

Your Next Miami Dolphins Jersey

With the Miami Dolphins’ 2026 draft in the books and most of free agency behind us, I asked the following question last week:

What new jersey from this year’s Miami Dolphins draft class do you plan to purchase either this offseason or in the somewhat near future, and why?

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

MiamiItaliano went with a player who, if he lives up to expectations, should be a fan favorite.

Rodriguez #10 for sure. I have little doubt that he’ll be a tackling machine. Maybe Bell #18, but I want to wait and see if...

Dolphins 90 in 90: Rookie Mason Reiger in the spotlight

The Miami Dolphins have an off day on Wednesday before their third organized team activity on Thursday. As the team continues its build-up toward June’s minicamp and July’s training camp, we continue with day two of our look at the team’s roster. The return of our 90-in-90 series yesterday featured cornerback JuJu Brents. Today, we stay on the defensive side of the ball with a closer look at an undrafted free agent rookie.

Miami is rebuilding the edge rushers this year, having moved on from veterans Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips. Chop Robinson is the center piece for the group,...

‘Nostradamus-Like’: Miami Dolphins GM predicted 2026 NFL Draft first-round outcome

‘Nostradamus-Like’: Miami Dolphins GM predicted 2026 NFL Draft first-round outcome

The Miami Dolphins are in their Jon-Eric Sullivan era after firing longtime general manager Chris Grier last season and replacing him with the former Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel earlier this year. Sullivan just completed his first NFL Draft as the head-man-in-charge in Miami, and according to reports, he accurately called his shots when it came down to his two first-round selections — offensive guard Kadyn Proctor and cornerback Chris Johnson.

In a recent Sports Illustrated article from NFL insider Albert Breer, it was revealed that just prior to the start of the 2026 NFL Draft, Sullivan...

Dolphins seem to foil Lions draft plans – The Splash Zone 5/20/26

The Miami Dolphins may not have been the only team interested in Kadyn Proctor as it’s come out that the Detroit Lions may have coveted the big offensive lineman. The Lions (17) were working on trading up with the Baltimore Ravens (14) but that plan fell through when the Dolphins selected Proctor. Though it wasn’t confirmed they were interested in Proctor, we can only assume as the Lions backed out after the Dolphins selection.

You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.

Your Way Too Early 2027 Miami Dolphins Draft Needs

Your Way Too Early 2027 Miami Dolphins Draft Needs

With the 2026 NFL Draft now behind us, and most of the free agents that the team could afford to add up to this point already part of the roster, I asked the following “way too early” question:

Given what you know about the Miami Dolphins roster presently and given what you believe you know of the most current draft class, what positions should the team be targeting in free agency in 2027, as well as the 2027 NFL draft? Please give us your way-too-early list of needs in 2027, along with your reasoning.

Below are some of your thoughts...

Dolphins 90 in 90: JuJu Brents starts roster review for 2026

The Miami Dolphins are into their first set of Organized Team Activities for the 2026 offseason training program, getting the players into offense versus defense drills for the first time this year. With a new head coach in former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley leading the way, the Dolphins are looking to rebuild the team after a disappointing end to the Mike McDaniel era in South Florida. A new year brings with it new expectations and new hopes. What will 2026 look like for Miami?

Today seemed like a great day to bring back an old favorite here...

Tua Tagovailoa will not practice against Miami Dolphins this preseason

The full schedule for all 32 teams in the National Football League came out last week — including all preseason games for each club. Eagle-eyed Dolphins fans quickly spotted a preseason tilt against the Atlanta Falcons taking place on Friday, August 28th at Hard Rock Stadium, which meant former starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa would be returning to South Florida to square off against the team that drafted him with the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

On Tuesday, Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley met with the local media following the team’s OTA practice and was questioned about Miami’s plans...

ESPN links free agent offensive lineman to Miami Dolphins in strange prediction

The 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Miami Dolphins added 13 new players via the annual selection process in addition to a slew of undrafted free agents. However, a general manager’s work is never done, and ESPN predicts Jon-Eric Sullivan to add to Miami’s offensive tackle group.

Matt Bowen of ESPN released an article on Monday linking remaining free agents to their best team fits. He has former Detroit Lions offensive lineman Taylor Decker joining the Dolphins in what would be a very curious move.

“Decker had an 89.3% pass block win rate in 2025 with...

Players to watch at Dolphins OTAs – The Splash Zone 5/19/26

The Miami Dolphins will begin Organized Team Activities (OTAs) this week and it will mainly be focused on learning the new system set in place by Jeff Hafley and his coaches. While there will be no full contact during practice, there will be drills such as 7 on 7’s that will allow us to see how the players look. There will be several players to keep an eye on with QB Malik Willis near the top of the list. The Dolphins have invested into him this season and with the limited amount of starts with the Green Bay Packers, he...
