Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week Eight | Defensive masterpiece

Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week Eight | Defensive masterpiece

Hey! We got one!

For only the second time in 2025, the Miami Dolphins found themselves on the positive side of the scoreboard on Sunday — defeating the Atlanta Falcons in convincing fashion by a score of 34-10.

Tua Tagovailoa and the offense had an efficient day, with the quarterback throwing for four touchdowns and zero interceptions while completing 20 of 26 passes. Miami’s ground attack led the way — with head coach Mike McDaniel calling 37 running plays as opposed to just 26 throws.

It was a good day from the offense, but we’ve seen that this season. What...

Did Mike McDaniel get a lifeline – The Splash Zone 10/28/25

Winning can help cure a lot of things, but the Miami Dolphins have dug themselves into a deep hole that they may not be able to get out of. Mike McDaniel’s coaching seat has been pretty hot the past couple of weeks but after clobbering the Atlanta Falcons, it’s been pretty quiet on the “Fire McDaniel” front. While firing McDaniel may still be warranted after the season, it’s just nice to enjoy a Dolphins win before they take on the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

Tonight, two third-place teams face off in the 3-4 Washington Commanders and the 4-3 Kansas City Chiefs. The Commanders come into this game off a two-game losing streak, including last week’s game that they dropped to their divisional rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, 22-44. Kansas City has bounced back of late, having won its last two games, including a blowout win last weekend over the Las Vegas Raiders, 31-0.

Storm Duck to miss rest of 2025 season due to injury

Miami Dolphins cornerback Storm Duck will miss the remainder of the 2025 season due to the knee injury he suffered against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed while speaking with the South Florida media on Monday afternoon.

Duck returned to action Sunday after missing the team’s previous six contests due to an ankle injury he suffered in week one against the Indianapolis Colts. He played all of 15 defensive snaps before exiting against Atlanta.

Duck entered the league in 2024 after going undrafted out of Louisville. He joined the Miami Dolphins on April 27th, 2024 and...

Lamar Jackson expected to play Thursday for Ravens versus Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins will host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football to open Week 9 in four days. The Dolphins are coming off their best performance of the season, beating the Atlanta Falcons 34-10. The win moved them to 2-6 on the season and provides them some momentum heading into their game against Baltimore.

The Ravens also moved to two wins on the season on Sunday, beating the Chicago Bears to improve to 2-5. Baltimore played the last three games, including yesterday’s contest, without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury.

Jackson is expected...

The Good, Bad & Ugly from the Miami Dolphins Week 8 win over the Atlanta Falcons

The Good, Bad & Ugly from the Miami Dolphins Week 8 win over the Atlanta Falcons

Where have these Miami Dolphins been all season?!

The Miami Dolphins traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to take on the Falcons on Sunday, and for the first time this season, the boys in aqua and orange fully dominated their opponent, downing the Dirty Birds by a score of 34-10.

After Miami’s week seven loss to the lowly Cleveland Browns, many national analysts predicted a similar result against the 3-3 Falcons. However, Atlanta ruled out second-year quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and top wide receiver Drake London ahead of their clash with the Dolphins, giving some fans hope that Miami could squeak out...

Dolphins end losing streak – The Splash Zone 10/27/25

Raise your hand if you knew the Miami Dolphins were going to play their best game of the season. The Dolphins trounced the Atlanta Falcons by playing great complimentary football. The Dolphins running game was good and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, despite having trouble with his high, was efficient with 4 touchdowns. Hats off the Dolphins defense too as they held the Falcons to 10 points with their touchdown only coming late in the fourth. Next up for Miami is a Thursday night showdown with a familiar foe, the Baltimore Ravens.

Dolphins home dogs for Week 9 versus Ravens on Thursday night

The Miami Dolphins are coming off their best performance of the 2025 season, beating the Atlanta Falcons 34-10 on Sunday. Miami won on offense, defense, and special teams, seemingly from the opening kickoff through the final whistle. It was an all-around win for a Dolphins team that has struggled to find anything positive about this season.

The win moves Miami to 2-6 for the season, and hopefully gives them some momentum for the second half of the season. They will not have to wait long to prove they are more like the Week 8 version of the team than they...

Dolphins vs. Falcons final score, immediate reaction: Miami dominates on way to second victory

Dolphins vs. Falcons final score, immediate reaction: Miami dominates on way to second victory

The Miami Dolphins entered Week 8 with a 1-6 record and a sense of doom surrounding everyone on the team. The hot seat underneath head coach Mike McDaniel had never been hotter, and the calls for a change were incessant. A team in disarray headed into Georgia to face the Atlanta Falcons.

The team that hit the field was not the same team that has played through the first seven weeks. Miami was efficient. They were effective. They were attacking. They were a complete team, making impacts on offense, defense, and special team. They leave Atlanta with their second win...

Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons Open Live Thread & Game Information

The Miami Dolphins are heading north this week to face the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the Falcons’ 3-3 record, few (meaning almost none) fans or talking heads give the Dolphins a chance to win this afternoon. As of the writing of this post, Miami is a full touchdown underdog according to the oddsmakers, and that might be generous. Much of the negativity, particularly that coming from the fan base, is more than justified. With a record of 1-6 and a loss to one of the NFL’s worst and dysfunctional teams, the Cleveland Browns, last week, it’s understandable that fans are calling...

Dolphins vs Falcons inactive players: Tua Tagovailoa update after Sunday illness

The Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons are headed toward a 1 p.m. Eastern showdown. News on Saturday indicated the Falcons were planning to start backup quarterback Kirk Cousins due to an injury to starter Michael Penix, Jr. Then on Sunday morning, news broke that Miami starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was being added to the injury report with an illness. While the team did not add a game designation, indicating they still expected him to play, the addition was a surprise start to the day.

Now, with less than 90 minutes before kickoff, both teams have released their respective inactive players...
