The Dallas Cowboys will not be seeing running back Miles Sanders again this season. Stephen Jones noted Friday on 105.3 The Fan that Sanders is being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Jones said this on The Fan just a few minutes after Friday’s injury report went out which noted that Sanders was a non-participant and out for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. He has been listed as having a knee/ankle injury.
Sanders played the first four games of the season for Dallas before missing last week’s game against the New York Jets and clearly what he is dealing with...

The Dallas Cowboys are a mash unit given all the injuries they have sustained. However, Dak Prescott and the offense have maintained a blistering pace offensively even without CeeDee Lamb and multiple starters on the offensive line. As the Cowboys enter the weekend, their expansive injury reports this week, with many players limited in practice, remain inconclusive after Friday’s practice.
As expected, CeeDee Lamb (ankle), KaVontae Turpin (foot), and Tyler Booker (ankle), were ruled out today. None of them was officially involved in team activities this week. Linebacker Jack Sanborn (concussion) was also ruled out after suffering a concussion against...

It’s no secret that the Dallas Cowboys are currently rolling in cap space. After trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys currently have the second-most cap space in the NFL with just over $31M available to spend. Unless a big trade is on the horizon, the Cowboys have taken care of their biggest upcoming free agents in DaRon Bland, Tyler Smith, and Jake Ferguson.
Almost at the quarter point of the season, let’s take a look at three players the Cowboys could look at making an aggressive push for before they hit free agency at the end...

The Dallas Cowboys come into this week’s game with the Carolina Panthers with a 2-2-1 record, but if they win that game, they will be above .500 and after the Giants upset the Eagles last night, right in the thick of the NFC East race.
Dallas is currently 1-and-0 in the division with the high-scoring win over the Giants in week two, and with Washington on the way next week, that game could be massive for the division race.
The Eagles have now lost two in a row after starting 4-and-0 and everyone thought they would run away with it,...

And then there was hope.
The Dallas Cowboys clawed their way back to .500 with a dominating win over the admittedly hapless New York Jets, but it was just the kind of win you would want to see from a strong team facing a lesser opponent. And with a little help from the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants in wins over the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas is back in the thick of the race for the NFC East.
There is still a lot of season ahead. Staying relevant depends on what the team does going forward. Our David Howman...

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to face the Carolina Panthers this Sunday, both teams enter with their own storylines.
Dallas, currently sitting in the middle of the NFC standings, has reestablished itself as one of the leagues most dangerous teams, boasting the NFLs #1 overall offense but with a defense that has not lived up to expectations.
QB Dak Prescott is playing some of his best football, leading an offense thats averaging well over 30 points per game during its recent stretch.
On the other side, Carolina continues to rebuild around quarterback Bryce Young, whos shown incremental improvement but is...

The Dallas Cowboys came into Week 5 looking for their first win since defeating the New York Giants in Week 2. Thankfully, they got to play the winless New York Jets, and they handled business accordingly.
They improved to 2-2-1 on the season with a 37-22 win. It wasn’t a flawless performance, but the Cowboys played their best game of the year when combining both sides of the ball. Not only did Dak Prescott continue to show that he is one of best quarterbacks in the NFL, the Cowboys defense, from a pass-rush standpoint, had its most inspiring performance of...

The Dallas Cowboys are going to visit the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon and it seems plausible to suggest that they are going to win. Nothing is guaranteed, though.
On this Friday we are talking about that exact subject. When thinking about guarantees… what is one you would make if you had the power to do so? What is something you are beyond confident will occur this weekend in Charlotte?
You can be as bold or shy about this guarantee as you like, but for the purposes of the discussion we are searching for things that you would bet everything...

NFL teams are reportedly calling the Raiders about Maxx Crosby. If the Cowboys entered the mix, his complete skill set could finally fix Dallas defensive front.
The Las Vegas Raiders are once again in the middle of trade speculation, with several reports confirming that teams have reached out about defensive end Maxx Crosby.
While the Raiders arent actively shopping their superstar, theyre not turning away calls either and thats enough to intrigue a contender like the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas has the offensive firepower to contend, but its defense has struggled to find...

The Cowboys got back in the win column, and what a way to do it. Their blowout victory on the road over the Jets seems to have inspired some confidence in the team while also soft-launching Dak Prescott’s MVP campaign. Is it all real, though, or just a symptom of facing the Jets, the only team still without a win this season?
As always, let’s turn to the data for some answers. One thing to note on the DVOA-related grades in this week’s roundup: strength of schedule adjustments have kicked in, though they’re not at full strength yet. Similarly, DAVE...
