The Arizona Cardinals finished last place in the NFC West once again, and they finished 0-6 in the division, meaning they will have a last place schedule, but who knows what that means.
We know their opponents, we know they have nine home opponents, but they may be out of the country for one of those, and we know they have their scheduled matchups with the NFC East and AFC West.
Let’s take a look at the Arizona Cardinals 2026 opponents and their home and away schedule as of now.

Revenge of the Birds
The Arizona Cardinals will have the third pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
While in a season of disappointments that is a nice consolation prize, the reality is, if they keep Jonathan Gannon and Monti Ossenfort this will be the first time a regime has picked in the top five three times.
They will do it in four years.
I know, people will say they inherited that first top five pick, which is why it is important to note, that no coach/GM combo has ever accomplished this feat in Arizona.
In fact, Monti will be only the second GM to...
Revenge of the Birds
Jonathan Gannon is a defensive guy, right?
Well, his defense was handed a 20-16 lead with 3:51 left in the third quarter.
They lost this one 37-20 after taking that lead.
They were outgained 217 to 39 (if you take out the kneel downs) after they took the lead in the third quarter.
It was a nice second half for Michael Wilson, and the Cardinals have Trey McBride and Wilson heading into next year.
After that, there are nothing but questions on both sides of the ball.
They have a lot of decisions to make, especially in regards to the...
Revenge of the Birds
The defense did enough for nearly a half, the offense and the people who are supposed to be the leaders of it look like they may be ready for Cabo, except for Trey McBride.
The Arizona Cardinals trail the Los Angeles Rams at the half 16-6, despite having plenty of chances.
Jacoby Brissett has two turnovers, including an egregious interception, which feels like we need to give 25% to Michael Wilson, because that is something that a “clear wide receiver one” does, is help out his quarterback on terrible throws.
However, today has been a rough watch for both offenses....
Revenge of the Birds
Happy season finale one and all.
I am not trying to play spoiler, but we probably know how this one will end, as the Arizona Cardinals are not good, and the Rams are trying to get back into a rhythm before they head into the playoffs, where they will be trying to get back to their third Super Bowl under Sean McVay, while the Cardinals are hoping to win a fourth game of the 2025 season.
There are levels to this, and the Cardinals are below the starting line compared to where the Rams are.
We will see how this...
Revenge of the Birds
The Arizona Cardinals will take on the Los Angeles Rams today in a game the Rams fully need to win.
A win gives them the fifth seed in the NFC playoff race, and will allow them a slightly easier first round route taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, before they get to the meat of the NFC Playoffs against one of the top teams.
So, what do Jess and I think?
Well, a lot.
We start by looking at the Rams and some matchups to watch, before taking a walk down the Jonathan Gannon lane.

The Arizona Cardinals are about to have the most losses in a single season in franchise history. And it seems more likely than not they are going to run things back next year.
That is why it is so interesting how few fans are confident in the direction of the franchise, since it seems like the owner and management...
Revenge of the Birds
Happy Sunday one and all.
It is the final Sunday of the regular season for the Arizona Cardinals, and they are taking on a Los Angeles Rams team that is looking to get back into the win column after back-to-back losses.
The Rams have all the incentive in the world for this one, as they need to win to take that all important fifth seed in the NFC playoffs.
We have all the information you need to know about this week, so let’s take a look.
Date: Sunday, January...
Revenge of the Birds
The Arizona Cardinals are bad. We all know that, but the offensive performance against the worst defensive team in the NFL was abysmal, and that coupled with continued struggles on defense means the Arizona Cardinals loss to the Cincinnati Bengals was actually worse than what the score was.
Jess and I talk about that and more on this episode of the show, so sit back, relax and enjoy.

Revenge of the Birds
The 2025 NFL season is about to close another chapter with the final weekend of games in the regular season this weekend. The Arizona Cardinals travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams.
The following day is referred to as “Black Monday.” This is the day that NFL owners fire their head coaches and general managers. Already, the New York Football Giants and Tennessee Titans have given their head coaches the ax. It has been reported that as many as six clubs will let their head man go on Monday.

NFL teams are allowed to keep 53 players on their active roster. Every club makes certain that their coffers are full at all times.
The Arizona Cardinals just added two players off waivers to get their roster back at the 53-man limit.

On Thursday, the Cardinals claimed linebacker Austin Keys (6’-2”, 244 pounds) off the waiver wire from the Minnesota Vikings. Two days ago, the franchise also claimed and was awarded tight end Rivaldo Fairweather (6’-3”, 249 pounds) from the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
Waiver wire players are awarded in reverse order of the...
Revenge of the Birds
Another loss last weekend for the Arizona Cardinals. What does that make now?
In a weird twist, one more loss this season would break a 127-year record with the only roster to lose 14 games in a single season.

Happy New Year’s for a lot of teams, mostly the clubs that have advanced to this year’s playoffs. For the Cardinals, that means cleaning out lockers and going back home and finally get to eat stuff that was off-limits all year. Pizza comes to mind. Like, getting thrown out of Cici’s all-you-can-eat pizza.
All Cardinals...
