The Arizona Cardinals beloved play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch is finally leaving for a fulltime role with ESPN.
Pasch announced it today on his social media.
This is a huge loss for fans, as Pasch is for my money, the best in the business, and why he is taking a larger role with ESPN, because he is a master of his craft.
Pasch has been a huge part of every Arizona Cardinals fans life for the past 24-years. He was a voice of the best times in Cardinals history, and the voice that saw the most prosperous time in the franchises time in Arizona, and probably since the merger.
As a fan, Pasch delivered the calls that sent the Arizona Cardinals to their first and only Super Bowl, his call on the Fitz touchdown in the Super Bowl, and his call to end the Packers game to send them to New Orleans are forever ingrained in my memory.
Congratulations on a remarkable run with the Arizona Cardinals, Dave and good luck and continued success to you at ESPN.
