The Cleveland Browns have officially signed WR Kaden Davis to the active roster from the practice squad today ahead of their game against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
Davis, officially in his fourth season after signing with the Denver Broncos as a UDFA in 2022, has been a fan favorite in Cleveland throughout the 2025 offseason and preseason due to his productivity heading into the regular season.
He was initially waived and then re-signed to the Browns’ practice squad on August 27th, and has been practicing with the team ever since. He was promoted once this season already on September...

One of the Cleveland Browns’ biggest “misses” this past offseason was not bringing in more talent at the wide receiver position. Though it was logical to think that Jerry Jeudy could handle a heavy workload in 2025, the team didn’t foresee him leading the NFL in drops heading into week 11.
Besides Jeudy, nobody has really stepped up aside from Cedric Tillman, who can’t seem to stay healthy. Jamari Thrash has looked decent when on the field, but he’s likely nothing more than a solid contributor in Cleveland. Malachi Corley has also looked intriguing as a gadget-type player, so it’s...

For many, including DBN staff and readers, the constant focus on QB Shedeur Sanders with the Cleveland Browns can feel mind-numbing. The problem is that QB Dillon Gabriel hasn’t done enough to quiet all the noise. Sadly, conspiracy theories are running wild with fans and media sharing what they think is actually happening that is keeping Sanders on the bench.
Some of the reasons being speculated make sense, including Sanders not being ready, wanting to be certain that Gabriel can’t turn it around before benching him as a rookie, and not wanting to force Sanders to play the rest of...

At this point in the 2025 NFL season, everything for the Cleveland Browns is about the future. Whether that future is the 2026 NFL draft, the futures of GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski, or even the Browns roster as a whole.
The rest of this season will see a lot of conversation about QBs Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, as well as the NFL draft class at quarterback. Plenty of teams could be in the market for a quarterback this offseason, so Cleveland’s future at the position is far from guaranteed.
The Browns roster has [a load of...

There are two schools of thought when it comes to building an NFL roster: A) Get the quarterback, work everything else out or B) Build the roster, especially the lines, so whatever QB you get is set up for success. Like most “or” questions, the answer is probably somewhere in between.
For the Cleveland Browns, it isn’t all about the quarterback, but that is the golden goose the team has been chasing for decades. Whether GM Andrew Berry and/or HC Kevin Stefanski will get to be the ones to make those key decisions is still up in the air. [Getting...

The latest Cleveland Browns coverage from Dawgs By Nature:

Cleveland Browns fans are unhappy with the state of the team, the offense in particular and the regime of GM Andrew Berry and HC Kevin Stefanski in general. The organization has done nothing to address any of those things since dealing away QB Joe Flacco and CB Greg Newsome in trades and adding OT Cam Robinson and CB Tyson Campbell.
At least QB Dillon Gabriel is up for an award this week because the Browns continue to not make any moves around their struggling offense or even their putrid special teams.
Instead, we saw four moves to Cleveland’s roster on...

In general, people feel really comfortable when they can blame or explain things easily. Complicated explanation and an inability to place blame simply on one person, thing, or decision can often lead to frustration and sometimes lead to random conspiracy theories.
The Cleveland Browns trade for QB Deshaun Watson is both a simple and accurate explanation for the team’s struggles over the last few years. A veteran-laden roster did not have a top-flight quarterback to take them over the top (but was good enough when Joe Flacco caught lightning in a bottle), and the loss of draft picks and salary...

It is Week 11, and the Cleveland Browns sunk down 2.0 spots to an average ranking of 29.4 this week, although they really would have been lower had it not been for one site ranking them well higher than the rest. Either way, the consensus is clear that the Titans are the worst team, and then it’s anyone between the Saints, Browns, and Jets after that. I still feel like Cleveland has the best talent in that group, which makes the season all-the-more-frustrating and points to coaching and bad quarterback play.
Here is a summary of how the Cleveland Browns...

There are so many ways to look at and evaluate professional football. Pro Football Focus does grades, FTN’s DVOA gives some distinct data points, EPA gives a big picture number and things like RAS scores tell you how athletic a player is. Others just look at box scores and who won to calculate backward what was good or bad (outcome-oriented evaluation).
There is nothing like just watching football.
Watching the Cleveland Browns in Week 10, fans knew a few things:

Last week, the Cleveland Browns lost positioning in the 2026 NFL draft order despite being on a bye week. As we noted after the pathetic performance by the Browns in Week 10, the NFL draft is the only place for hope for Cleveland fans heading into Week 11. Prior to the Browns versus the New York Jets, data showed that the loser of the matchup would have a huge advantage in the fight for the top overall selection in the upcoming NFL draft.
Cleveland is that team, now, especially [as big underdogs going into a home matchup with the Baltimore...
