Here’s another week where the Denver Broncos get to face off against a New Jersey team that might not have a great record, but is a team you have to take very seriously. The New York Giants have looked like a different team since Jaxson Dart took over, and now Cam Skattebo is starting to kick things into high gear. They’ve won two of their last three, with those wins coming against the Chargers and Eagles (two divisional leaders).
So, how do the Broncos beat the Giants in their first matchup since 2001? Let’s take a look at three things...
If you are seeing GREEN in your region on the map above, you will get the Broncos-Giants game on your local CBS affiliate in Week 7. The coverage is strong around Broncos Country and in the greater New York City region, but nowhere else — including Alaska and Hawaii.
The New York Giants are playing much better football since benching Russell Wilson in favor of rookie Jaxson Dart, who is 2-1 since taking over. The defense has come a live a bit too, so the Denver Broncos will have their work cut out for them despite the Giants 2-4 record...
The seventh week of the NFL regular season has arrived. My Week 6 picks were an improvement over Week 5, but 9-6 wasn’t the outcome I was hoping for. Through six weeks I’m sitting at 61-32 with predictions—just a shade over 65-percent accuracy. This week, there will be fifteen games with the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens having their bye weeks.
Thursday Night Football — Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
Winner: Steelers
The AFC North seems prime for the Steelers to take with ease. After starting off 4-1, they have a clear and comfortable lead over the rest of the...
After spending four of the first six weeks of the 2025 regular season on the road, the Denver Broncos find themselves back in the familiar comfort of Dove Valley. Halfway through October, they boast a 4-2 record heading into this weekend’s matchup against the New York Giants. Winners of three straight, the Broncos have the ability to make it four in a row with a win on Sunday. Achieving that fifth win is crucial, especially in a super competitive AFC.
While the Giants may just have two wins, they have a little bit more moxie and confidence than they did...
The Denver Broncos (4-2) will host the upstart New York Giants (2-4) who have won two of their last three games under rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. They could get their season fully on the right track with an upset win over the Broncos here in Week 7, but Bo Nix and Denver will be looking to move to 5-2 instead and in a strong position within the AFC West. Every game is a must-win game now… for both teams.
Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Empower Field at Mile High in...
The Denver Broncos received some great news heading into Week 7. One of the top free agent pick-ups, inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw, has been activated to return from injured reserve today. He started the season on the report and was ultimately placed on short-term IR as he dealt with a nagging quad injury. It looks like he’ll be working his way onto the field at some point in the near future.
Jonathon Cooper was also limited on Wednesday with a quad issue. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his stellar performance against the New York Jets...
He’s back!
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw returned to practice today and has been designated to return from the injured reserve. This is big news for the Broncos since Greenlaw has been out since the beginning of the year and has been dealing with a nagging quad injury. The hope was that they would have him for the start of the season, but he suffered a setback, and the team decided to place him on the injured reserve, which would sideline him for at least four weeks.
Well, the four weeks are up, and Greenlaw is back on the practice field and...
The Denver Broncos have gone back-to-back with AFC Defensive Player of the Week awards. Nik Bonitto last week and now Jonathon Cooper this week. Cooper was in on a lot of pressures against the New York Jets on Sunday, piling up two total sacks, give tackles, a TFL, and three quarterback hits.
It’s been the Broncos defense helping the turnaround from 1-2 to 4-2. That trend hit the peak last week with the Broncos defense allowing just nine completions while piling up nine total sacks on the day. They also allowed -10 total net passing yards, which is the fewest...
Welcome back to another team-focused film review. Obviously the low hanging fruit this week would have been to review Matt Peart’s first game in replacement of the injured Ben Powers, but I won’t insult your intelligence. I trust that all of you know he got a 0.0% according to the RGS and we do not need to speak of him further, besides celebrating when he gets replaced (bumping Wattenberg, or starting Throckmorton or Palczewski).
I saw many people mentioning their frustration with Sean Payton’s play calling on Sunday (which is deserved, but he’s usually good), and specifically people were confused...
Because of some nagging injuries the inactive list looked very different this week: Sam Ehlinger, Tyler Badie, Jonah Elliss, Frank Crum, Jordan Jackson, and Sai’vion Jones
The entire offensive line played the whole game, but this was the first game without Ben Powers. Matt Peart played poorly in his first start at guard for the Broncos. I was expecting Alex Palcweski to get the start, but apparently Sean Payton wanted to keep him available as the 6th offensive lineman. AP played 9 snaps.
At running back Jaleel McLaughlin got his first game action with Tyler Badie inactive. Jaleel got 6....
The Denver Broncos escaped London with a win.
If not for the defense and nine-sack showing, it would have made a long flight back to Denver a little tougher to stomach. Thankfully, the Broncos improved to 4-2 and extended their winning streak to three games.
Now comes the confident New York Giants that just upset the Philadelphia Eagles. The defense will need to control the line of scrimmage, and the offense must play better. This is a game Denver should win, but anything can happen week to week.
The odds favor the home team this Sunday. The Broncos are a...
Coming into this season, I looked forward to seeing Bo Nix and the offense level up in a big way to help this Broncos team move closer to their championship aspirations.
I expected our defense to improve as well, but I thought the offense was where the story was going to be this season.
I honestly missed the boat. This defense is absolutely baller.
And unlike last season, they’ve held up under big tests against big-time opposition.
In 2015, we were all treated to the most phenomenal defensive machine the league has ever seen. They had an absolutely astounding secondary...
