The Buffalo Bills are squaring off against the Houston Texans in a primetime Thursday night clash and things should be interesting. Last week, the 7-3 Bills struggled at first against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, once the team shifted to allow Josh Allen to play slightly unhinged, the offense came alive. By the end of the game, their 44-32 victory seemed like an absolute thrashing.
If the Bills have any hope of stacking their wins, they have to play similar this week against the Texans. While on defense, they will be facing backup QB Davis Mills, on offense they will...

The Buffalo Bills are set to face off against the Houston Texans for the second consecutive season. It’s also the second consecutive season where the Bills have traveled to Houston for the contest. Last year, Buffalo played horribly in a 23-20 loss at the Texans.
Houston has not been a friendly venue for Buffalo, as the Bills haven’t left the city with a win since November of 2006. In that game, J.P. Losman threw touchdown passes to Lee Evans and Peerless Price, with the latter securing a game-winning grab with just 14 seconds remaining to give the Bills a 24-21...

The Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans are around 90 minutes away from kickoff this evening, which means that each team has released its respective list of inactive players. Buffalo had declared three players out, but one of those players—wideout Mecole Hardman Jr.—was placed on injured reserve earlier this evening. With two players elevated from the practice squad, that means that the Bills needed to list a total of six players out this evening.
Which six players aren’t going to dress for the game tonight? Here is the full list.

The hurdle that it often is adequately covering the Buffalo Bills, Thursday Night Football claimed this week’s intended Five Questions with Battle Red Blog (BRB). Since we were able to get through my half of the exchange in discussing the Bills, I didn’t want to let this content pass Buffalo Rumblings readers by completely.
So here now is what Scott Barzilla of Battle Red Blog wanted to know about the Buffalo Bills ahead of Week 12 with the Houston Texans. This content was supposed to run on BRB, which instead I’m sharing here.
Following my responses, I’ve also shared the...

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have elevated veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis from the practice squad ahead of their Thursday night matchup with the Houston Texans. Buffalo also elevated rookie tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad. It’s the second elevation for both players.
Davis, 26, caught three passes for 40 yards last week in his 2025 debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He saw four targets from quarterback Josh Allen on 23 offensive snaps. While he played fewer snaps than every wideout other than Mecole Hardman Jr., it was clear that Allen trusted Davis in big spots....

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. is headed to Injured Reserve (IR) after suffering a calf injury during Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That means Hardman will at least miss the next four games on Buffalo’s schedule.
It’s not an entirely surprising roster move given the news that the Bills brought back cornerback Brandon Codrington to the practice squad. His return likely meant Hardman’s injury was going to be more than just a simple day-to-day monitoring situation.
Hardman had not played football at all prior to joining Buffalo ahead of Week 11. Did the Bills put him...

The Buffalo Bills played a chaotic brand of dominating football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past Sunday. It was the sort of game that endears quarterback Josh Allen to his faithful fans, where an ugly turnover or two prove mostly meaningless in the big picture. Most of all, Buffalo fielded a competent passing attack the likes of which has gone missing too many times in 2025.
Their win wasn’t without criticism, and skeptics remain — especially among those who power rank the NFL each week. We’ll skip much of the bravado this round given the Bills play their Week...

We are hours away from Thursday Night Football between the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills. The talk leading into the game should be about Josh Allen’s six-touchdown game and how the offense should be back on track. However, the talk is about Keon Coleman once again.
A report from Cover 1 says the second-year receiver will once again be a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. This comes after Coleman was apparently late to a team meeting this past Friday which was at least the third time in his young career. (Cover 1 was also first on...

The Buffalo Bills vs. the Cincinnati Bengals was supposed to be a marquee matchup of two high-scoring NFL offenses in Week 14, so the NFL placed it at 4:25 p.m. on in the national window. With the injury to Bengals’ starting QB Joe Burrow and the subsequent terrible record for Cincinnati, the NFL as decided to move the game to 1:00 p.m. Eastern on December 7th instead, even though Burrow was practicing fully this week.
The game will remain on FOX from Highmark Stadium. At least the Bills can avoid Tom Brady calling the game, now.
Ironically, many Bills fans...

It’s been a whiplash two weeks for the Buffalo Bills, from the disheartening loss to the Miami Dolphins, then followed by wide receiver Keon Coleman’s benching and an electric 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bills are now 7-3 heading into tonight’s primetime matchup with the 5-5 Houston Texans, yet many fans and professional sports pundits remain unsure about where this team truly belongs in the NFL’s Super Bowl picture.
Buffalo faces a Houston team with Backup quarterback Davis Mills getting his third straight start. With a win, the Bills would hold tiebreakers on the three teams directly...

There’s been a lot of digital ink spent on talking up how good the Houston Texans’ defense is as we prepare to watch the Buffalo Bills try and take them down in front of millions tuned in to Thursday Night Football. I could easily do an article on just stats showing how that’s true. They allow the second least yards per play, with the best defense when it comes to yards per pass specifically. They have the fourth best interception rate, allow the least points per game and per drive (my favorite metric).
The Texans have this stat, that stat,...

The Buffalo Bills are part of the NFL’s featured schedule for Week 12, on the road to face the Houston Texans for Thursday Night Football. So what might a national audience expect to find in terms of officiating? Well, you may want to plan accordingly because this crew brings with it the potential for a dragged-out evening of football.
The head official will be Adrian Hill, who has called 160 penalties on the year — good for second-most in the league. Funny enough, The Bills had Alex Moore’s team last week, which is the league-leading crew in penalties called. In...
