Stop me if you’ve already heard about the Buffalo Bills implementing changes on defense for the first time in almost a decade. Fellow Rumblers and Bills Mafia alike are well-versed in the news that first-time defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard is back at One Bills Drive to try and fix a defense previously run by former head coach Sean McDermott.

While so much remains speculative at this point in July, we understand that the team will now operate out of a base 3-4, and do so as an attacking unit. What does that mean for Buffalo’s defenders? Hopefully, it means a lot of disruptive production that leads to more negative plays, more punts, and perhaps having to relay on less red zone stands.

With that, who do you believe stands to benefit the most in terms of sacks? It’s a deep roster of potential candidates, but there’s only so much room for the many names to stand out in a season. Who do you believe will lead the Bills in sacks as the end of the 2026 NFL season?

Players such as Greg Rousseau, Bradley Chubb, Michael Hoecht, T.J. Parker (rookie), Ed Oliver, and even Deone Walker stand out as prime candidates. But is there someone else among the team’s linebackers and defensive backs who should be considered here?
