Buffalo Bills run out of magic vs. Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17

Buffalo Bills run out of magic vs. Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17

Second-guess the last play all you want. Things didn’t go how anyone in Western New York drew it up. For much of the afternoon, it felt like the Buffalo Bills’ offense had no business playing for a win late in the fourth quarter against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that came in prepared to shut them down. But Bills Mafia has been down this road with their favorite football team.

It’s been a difficult season to enjoy in Bills Country, where despite a lot of wins and some surprisingly flashy stats, well… the team just doesn’t look like it has the...

Josh Allen injury: Buffalo Bills QB has X-rays after Eagles game

For the second straight week, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen had X-rays on his foot/ankle after the game. Last week, it was at halftime against the Cleveland Browns. In Week 17, it was immediately following the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

When asked after the game about the impact of the injury he answered with one word: “Zero.”

Allen tweaked the injury in the third quarter trying to avoid a sack by Moro Ojomo. His right ankle ever so slightly moved to the right awkwardly and he was taken dow on the play. He made several important plays after the...

Josh Allen NFL records: Buffalo Bills quarterback scores 300th touchdown

Every week, Josh Allen sets another NFL record. They may be hyperbole, but it feels like it is true, right? This week was perhaps the most important one as it’s the QB’s job to lead touchdown drives. And Allen is the most prolific QB in NFL history.

Josh Allen is the fastest player in NFL history to 300 touchdowns

Josh Allen is the youngest player in NFL history to hit 300 total touchdowns. He is the only player in NFL history to hit the number before turning 30.

Allen also holds the distinction of utilizing the fewest career games...

Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles Week 17 fan discussion

Any way you slice it, that was an ugly half of football. At halftime, the Buffalo Bills trail the Philadelphia Eagles 13-0 in a messy game that truthfully could be a lot worse on the scoreboard.

Interestingly, despite the dreadful weather, both teams have not strayed away from throwing the football. Quarterback Josh Allen finally found a catch partner down the field, with Brandin Cooks hauling in a 50-yard field stretcher. Unfortunately, Buffalo did nada with that good fortune, instead watching Allen fumble the ball backwards and to Philly.

Apart from that, the Bills have played some sloppy, nondescript football...

Buffalo Bills live updates: Highlights from Eagles game in Week 17

Rain and wind and snow, oh my! When the Philadelphia Eagles travel to western New York to take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 17 of the NFL, all of the weather elements will seemingly be in play. Grab your rain coats and umbrellas, Bills fans. Things could get sloppy.

While the Bills are three-point favorites at home, the Eagles will still be a tough matchup. Having the likes of Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts on the same offense will be a tall task for one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. However, the Bills still have hopes...

Buffalo Bills Week 17 inactives vs. the Philadelphia Eagles

The Buffalo Bills ruled four players out on Friday for today’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. After elevating two players from the practice squad on Saturday and signing tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad while releasing Mecole Hardman Jr., the team must declare three additional inactive players for today’s game.

When the team signed Latu to the active roster, we assumed that either Dawson Knox or Dalton Kincaid, both of whom are listed as questionable thanks to knee injuries, would miss today’s game. We now have our answer.

Here is Buffalo’s full inactive list for today’s clash with...

Bills vs. Eagles: How to watch, TV schedule, radio broadcast, odds, more

Two Northeast teams. Two highly mobile quarterbacks. One Super Bowl dream. With the Philadelphia Eagles in Orchard Park, NY to take on the Buffalo Bills late Sunday afternoon, most of the country will be watching. The 11-4 Bills play their best ball in December and January but the Eagles have beaten Buffalo in their previous three matchups.

As many Bills fans already know, Buffalo hasn’t been great defending the rush. Second-worst in fact. Going against the likes of running back Saquon Barkley and a quarterback in Jalen Hurts who loves to take off with the ball will be no easy...

Buffalo Bills vs. Philadelphia Eagles first half game chat

The Buffalo Bills have clinched a playoff berth. The Philadelphia Eagles have clinched an NFC East Division title. The Eagles are all but locked into the No. 3 seed in the NFC. Barring a truly crazy series of events, the Bills are all but locked into a Wild Card spot in the AFC, though their seeding can change wildly over the course of the next seven days.

Buffalo still has a slim, albeit mathematically possible, shot at the AFC’s No. 1 seed. They need help from some teams that have shut it down for the season, like the Miami Dolphins...

Buffalo Bills release WR Mecole Hardman Jr., sign TE Keleki Latu

The Buffalo Bills announced a series of roster moves on Saturday in preparation for their Sunday afternoon game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bills signed tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad, and to make room for him on the 53-man roster, they released wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.

Buffalo also elevated kicker Michael Badgley and defensive end Andre Jones Jr. from the practice squad.

Latu, 23, signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in the spring. He spent the offseason with the team, but was ultimately cut from the roster at the conclusion of the preseason. Latu...

Chargers vs. Texans | Packers vs. Ravens NFL Week 17 fan discussion

The ever-expanding soylent green blob that is today’s NFL empire has again deftly entered your holiday consciousness. It’s pro football’s way of handing out gifts, and by that I mean tempting fans to pony up hard-earned money on teams and late-season matchups that too often lack the requisite football drama promised in board room PowerPoint presentations.

Today, as part of the league’s Candy Cane patch series, we have two matchups that actually hold a lot of promise — at least one that still does, and another that may resemble preseason football on passing downs. First up, the Los Angeles Chargers...
