Buffalo Rumblings
Follow along while we bring you updates provided by teams – and the network – as players get medical attention, are ruled out, or – hopefully – return to play.
Should the Bills have injuries that alter their lineup, it might be helpful to know who is available as the next man up. To do that, here’s a look at who is in uniform today and who is sitting this Week 17 game out.
As for the Eagles, here’s a list of their inactives for today’s game:
With the Bills threatening to finally get into the end zone, Spencer Brown took a shot to the eye and then to the throat on a olay that dropped the Buffalo offensive tackle to the ground. Athletic trainers met him on the field before he was able to finally walk to the sideline, replaced on the field by Ryan Van Demark.
Davis came out of the game with just over nine minutes left to play in the fourth quarter. Davis came up limping and hopping his way to the sideline after a four-yard run. He immediately headed to the bench and was attended to by athletic trainers.
With less than two minutes to play in the second quarter, Bernard didn’t enter the game for the Eagles final offensive series of the half. Instead, it was Shaq Thompson on the field.
Phillips was injured on a third down play early in the second quarter. Went to the blue medical tent, but returned to play on the next defensive series.
Covey was injured on a fair catch attempt after Buffalo’s Sam Franklin was tripped and fell into the Philadelphia punt returner. After a brief trip to the medical tent, Covey returned the next punt the Bills sent his way.
