For the first time in the Joe Burrow era, we are not pointing to the offensive line as their biggest weakness heading in to a season. All five starters are returning after a strong season, so that position group seems to be solidified. This season, fans are pointing at the Bengals’ linebacker room as what could hold them back in 2026.
The Bengals were aggressive on the defensive side of the ball this offseason. A blockbuster trade for Dexter Lawrence II, signing top free agent safety Bryan Cook, signing Boye Mafe, and drafting Cashius Howell were the highlights. Even with...

Bengals cap space update heading into training camp
The Bengals had less space than usual after the shocker of a Dexter Lawrence trade and the costly trip to free agency. But unexpected-yet-welcome items, such as restructuring Joe Burrow’s contract, helped create more space.

Zac Taylor said that Landon Robinson was just too talented to pass up in the seventh round for the Cincinnati Bengals on draft day. My expectation is that he will also be too talented to keep off the final 53-man roster. He was front and center soaking in coaching throughout OTAs.
Robinson is entering the first year of his four-year $4.5 million rookie contract. He has an average annual salary of just over $1.1...

With this weekend being Fourth of July Weekend, it seems appropriate to turn the page from the offseason to the actual NFL season. After all, we’re just over three weeks away from the start of training camp, which will start for the Cincinnati Bengals on July 29th at the Kettering Health Practice Fields behind Paycor Stadium.
Offseason grades from national outlets are rolling in, and the Bengals have mostly received positive grades. NFL.com is giving the Bengals a B+.
Here is what Matt Okada had to say about the Bengals and the offseason they had.

The Cincinnati Bengals took a talented tight end prospect that surprisingly fell to the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft in Jack Endries. Endries was projected to be a mid-round draft selection prior to the draft, and could end up being a major steal for the Bengals.
Endries is entering the first year of his rookie deal. He signed a four-year, $4.5 million deal, with an average annual salary of just over $1.1...

Many people (especially Cincinnati Bengals fans) think Ja’Marr Chase is the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has been dominant since his first game in 2021, and he appears to be showing no sign of decline.
In fact, it appears he is just getting better and entering his prime.
Don’t take it from Bengals fans alone. On his podcast, NFL analyst Sam Monson detailed why Chase is the undisputed WR1 in the NFL.
“He’s just the best composite. He’s the classic No. 1 wide receiver who can win at all levels in all ways and terrifies defenses just by...

The Cincinnati Bengals chose not to use the fifth-year option on Myles Murphy. This was more of a financial decision to not lock in a fully guaranteed contract for next year than it was about the trajectory of Murphy on the field.
I don’t think it was a coincidence that Murphy had his best season to date in 2025, when he was finally given significant snaps. What can we expect from him this year?

We’re at that point in the offseason where using our imagination is necessary to survive as an NFL fan.
That’s why Chad Reuter of NFL.com put together a seven-round mock of active NFL players, predicting where they would go if teams were to select based on who would help them win now.
The draft order is the same as the 2026 NFL Draft for round one. And then it is reversed each round after that (similar to fantasy drafts).
For example, the first overall pick is Josh Allen to the Las Vegas Raiders. The second pick is Patrick Mahomes to...

Tee Higgins will be switching from Team Nike to Team Under Armour, according to a report from Jordan Schultz. The Bengals’ star receiver is expected to be a key part of marketing for the Under Armour football brand moving forward.
Higgins and fellow Bengals receiver Ja´Marr Chase signed long-term extensions with the Bengals last offseason. Now, Higgins is cashing in again with a move to the Under Armour brand. There are not currently any details of exactly how much he will be getting paid, but it is certainly a lucrative deal for the charismatic wide receiver.
After the Bengals were...

The Cincinnati Bengals did seemingly everything they could to improve a subpar defense.
Apparently, it wasn’t enough for ESPN’s Seth Walder in his grades for the 2026 NFL offseason.
The analytics writer didn’t think Cincinnati went about rebuilding the defense the right way. He called the trade for Dexter Lawrence “unwise” and “too pricey a trade” for a “good player who has been elite in the past.”
Walder cited Lawrence’s 8.4% pass rush win rate and 0.5 sacks last season as evidence that the 28-year-old nose tackle is on the decline.
The analyst then criticized the Jonathan Allen signing, writing,...
