My All-Time Historical Chicago Bears team is full of players with accolades galore, but they are also built around a tough style of play that to me defines the history of the Chicago Bears. This in-your-face ethic is to me an essential part of the team’s legacy, and so I present the Bear Essentials.

The latest Bears Banter Podcast has dropped!
The Chicago Bears wrapped up their offseason program when minicamp wrapped up and we spoke with The Score’s Mark Grote to talk about it.
Mark discusses Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams, the offensive line, the defensive line, and if there is anyone to fill a potential hole in the secondary.
For me, the best part of this offseason program? It was boring! No new coach to watch, no concerns over a developing quarterback, something we haven’t really experienced at all in at least a decade as Bears fans.
To check out the interview and...

A few weeks ago, an idea was proposed to our staff to have a fantasy draft, with the draft pool consisting of all current and former Chicago Bears. Being a huge fan of fantasy football, I jumped at the idea. To me, this seemed like the ultimate fantasy lineup-building exercise.
There were a total of 25 rounds, in total we would draft 11 offensive starters, 11 defensive starters, a kicker, a punter and a special team contributor of our choice.
I’m here to explain my drafting strategy, break down my picks, and make my case as to why my team...

“My appreciation grew even more. I loved him during the season, but when you watch the self-scout after the year, I think this was a guy that played at a very high level,” Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson recently said about defensive end Montez Sweat. “I talked to him yesterday about it. I would argue it was the best year of his career. Whether that showed up statistically or not, that’s debatable.”
The NFL players have voted Sweat number 91 in their annual Top 100 Players of 2026 list. This is the second time he achieved the feat, having...

Each day in the month of June, we’ll roll out a fresh topic to get Chicago Bears fans thinking. Be sure to chime in with your answer in the comments so we can all get to know our WCG members a bit better.
This one was tough as there have been quite a handful of painful moments in recent Bears history. The “Double Doink” and Javon Wims’ dropped TD pass from Mitch in our last playoff appearance before the 2025 season come to mind. But if...

For now, Caleb Williams will not officially be known as “Iceman.” Except, of course, he will.

It’s look less and less likely that Brendan Sorsby will be suing the NFL
Suing the league would be the latest dumb thing in a long line of idiotic things that Sorsby has done.
Is anyone advising Brandon Aiyuk?
Yes. Brendan Sorsby is Aiyuk’s agent.
[**Brandon Aiyuk posts yet another video (but this one...

It doesn’t have the fanfare or slow rollout as the NFL’s Top 100 player list, but CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco has been doing his own version of the Top 100 list for years. Three Chicago Bears made the cut this year, and he kicked off his list with Bears tight end Colston Loveland at number 100.
He had 58 catches and six touchdowns after starting slowly as a rookie in 2025. He added 12 catches in two playoff games, which shows where he is headed this season. (Last season: NR)
Loveland is just one of three tight ends on...

My All-Time Historical Chicago Bears team is full of Hall of Famers, Top 100 Bears, All Pros, and Pro Bowlers, and the few players who lack those accolades all fit a specific need on my squad. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest team assembled in our exercise, so the only name that fits is the Gridiron Greats.

We have an absolute gauntlet of eight teams from our All-Bears Historical Fantasy Draft. That’s expected to be the case when you’re picking from a team that has the most Hall of Famers of any team in NFL history. But my team is the best, and in this article, I’ll highlight why so you hopefully vote for me when we run our tournament.

The holiday season is months away, but for some they’re already dreaming of snowy days by the fireplace.
I know for my family, the holidays are often a divided house with the men mostly gathered in a room watching football games, while the women are in another part of the house watching Hallmark holiday movies.
But this year, Hallmark wants to bring all of us together.
Last season, the Buffalo Bills were featured as the backdrop for “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.” And it all started back in 2024 with the “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” based on...

Hello, Chicago Bears fans! Dan Hampton. Richard Dent. Steve “Mongo” McMichael. Julius Peppers. Tommie Harris. Akiem Hicks. George Connor. Ed Sprinkle. The Chicago Bears have more than their fair share of great defensive linemen throughout the years. But today we aren’t talking about who was the best Bears defensive lineman in franchise history, nor are we talking about the most productive defensive lineman in recent memory or since the turn of the century.
No, today I am talking about my all-time favorite defensive lineman for the Chicago Bears. And it isn’t any of the defensive linemen I just mentioned. It’s...
