And just like that, the Chicago Bears are back, baby!
After the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, our fans’ overall confidence in the direction of the franchise dipped to just 66%. It was a dark week for some of you, worrying whether our Bears were falling back into old habits.
After all, the Ravens were without their MVP-caliber quarterback, and losing to the QB2 felt like a step back for the franchise. Forget about Baltimore coming off their bye week with a soon-to-be Hall of Fame head coach known for having his team ready following the bye, or about the...

Well, coming off that thrilling and unbelievable game against the Cincinnati Bengals, what do our WCG contributors think will happen in the upcoming game of the Chicago Bears vs. the New York Giants at noon on Sunday? Some of our contributors see a fairly comfortable win for the Beloved, while others foresee a classic trap game, though we all see the Bears ultimately prevailing. Will it be a tight slog all the way to the end, or will the Bears get out early and stay there? The New York Giants are in disarray. There are rumors...

We’ve passed the halfway point of the 2025 NFL season, and our Chicago Bears are in those In The Hunt graphics, and it’s for real! At (5-3), they are currently in the NFC’s eighth seed, right behind the (5-3) Detroit Lions, who hold the tie-breaker over Chicago due to their Week 2 win.
The NFC is a lot more competitive than many figured it’d be, so the Bears can’t afford a loss on Sunday in a game they should win. The New York Giants are even worse at stopping the run than the Bengals are, with the G-Men allowing a...

On Saturday, the Chicago Bears tweaked their practice squad by releasing wide receiver Miles Boykin and signing linebacker Carl Jones Jr., who cleared waivers after being released by the Bears on Thursday.
Jones has played in seven games this season, all on special teams, and his 10 total tackles are tied for the second most on the team.
The Bears also elevated tight end Stephen Carlson to the active roster from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the New York Giants. In case you missed it, on Friday, tight end Durham Smythe popped up on the injury report wth...

The NFL season is an evolving state of affairs, and week 10 finds your 5-3 Chicago Bears on the verge of making a run and solidifying their playoff chances. This week’s battle against an NFC foe will be huge for playoff standings at the end of the year.
In this weekly series, I’ll be featuring one player from each team on each side of the ball who I believe to be integral to their respective team’s success. It’s not always about the quarterback or superstar defensive players like Myles Garrett and Brian Burns. Importance is all relative, and while the...

We continue our ‘85 at 40 series with a fantastic interview with the Seattle Seahawks assistant head coach, Leslie Frazier. Frazier has had a fantastic coaching career. He’s been a defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Buffalo Bills. He oversaw several excellent defensive units. He was also the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.
Before Frazier was a coach, he was an outstanding cornerback for the Chicago Bears. His final year was the 1985 season. Not because Frazier retired after the game, but because he suffered a career-ending injury.
We spoke with Frazier about...

Yes, before Michael Jordan dropped 38 points against the Utah Jazz in game 5 of the 1997 NBA finals, Walter Payton had his own flu game. In week 10 of the 1977 NFL season, the 4-5 Chicago Bears were set to host the 6-3 Minnesota Vikings. The Bears ground game took charge, fueled by Sweetness himself. While battling the flu and a 101-degree fever, Payton carried 40 times for 275 yards of rushing, while scoring the games lone offensive touchdown, a...

The Chicago Bears haven’t been three games over .500 since 2020, when they last made the postseason. That year, they went (8-8) and made the playoffs in a down NFC, but this season feels like they’ll need to get to 10 or maybe even 11 wins to snag a wildcard spot. Thus far, the NFC has...

It’s been an uneven year for Bears star receiver DJ Moore, with just 403 yards and a touchdown through eight games. But Moore’s head coach, Ben Johnson, doesn’t seem to be losing faith in him.
In fact, as the rookie coach told reporters during press availability on Friday, Moore’s perception within the building appears to be far different than the one fans and media have.
“I mean, you talk about a guy that comes into work with a smile on his face every single day,” Johnson said this week. “He loves football. I love what he’s about right now. …...

The Chicago Bears won a wild one last Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, which resulted in the Bears amassing over 500 yards of offense and 47 points scored. When that happens, and you are a prop better that loves to bet overs, you are going to have a good week, and that’s exactly what we had. We went 3-0 last week, which elevates are record to 16-7 on the season.
Can we stay hot this week with the Bears facing the Giants? Only one way to find out. Here are 3 props to play this week.

The weather is turning and it’s getting colder. That means the football is becoming more important.
November is when the playoff picture starts taking shape and teams really separate themselves.
The Giants are already contemplating their future, who will return next year, and what kind of rebuild they are going for. Questions that a year ago were being asked around Chicago.
The Bears hold a winning record, but a deeper look suggests the Bears aren’t really contenders.
Yet this is a game that Chicago should win, but will they?
Jaxon Dart is playing good football. The New York defense ranks...
