Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested on Friday evening for possession of an assault weapon.

According to TMZ, Denzel Perryman was arrested by officers of the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station last night after they discovered two rifles and three handguns in his car while he was en route to a gun range.

Since the rifles are “non-compliant” in California state laws, Perryman was arrested and charged with possessing an assault weapon. As of this morning, Perryman was still being held in jail.

As of 10:45 a.m. EST, the Chargers have yet to publicly comment on the matter....
