The NFL announced that Washington Commanders DT Daron Payne has been suspended for 1 game without pay. He was ejected from yesterday’s game against the Detroit Lions after he struck WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and was penalized for unsportsmanlike-conduct. Payne was named a captain by Dan Quinn for the game, and will now miss the Dolphins game in Madrid, Spain, unless he appeals, and it’s reduced to a fine. The team is reportedly leaving for Madrid tonight.
After the game, fellow DT Javon Kinlaw said Payne was provoked before the Lions scored, and “it was some bullshit” that the refs...

The Jets got their second win of the season in Week 10 to the delight of many of their fans. I know there are also some tank commanders out there wondering how it impacted the team’s position in the NFL Draft. The Jets did drop with their win but do continue to hold a top five pick.

Weird Pittsburgh Steelers stats from a miserable loss. – Pittsburgh lost its third primetime game this season after falling to the Cincinnati Bengals on a Thursday night and Green Bay Packers on a previous Sunday night. It’s the second-straight year the Steelers have lost three primetime games in a single regular season. Last year, they […]

Pats Pulpit
The New York Giants’ quarterback situation has taken another worrying turn. Giants rookie sensation Jaxson Dart suffered yet another concussion on Sunday. He left the game after sustaining what appeared to be his fourth concussion since the preseason. Already battered by injuries, the Giants stood in silence as Dart walked to the locker room, a scene that has become far too familiar this season. For head coach Brian Daboll, the repeated blows and relentless physical toll on Jaxson Dart have sparked growing concern. Fans are beginning to question how long their young leader can keep taking these hits. The Giants...

The New England Patriots knew that they had an opportunity to make a statement in Week 10 by picking up a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And while they weren’t favored to win this game, the Pats did just that, defeating the Bucs 28-23 to earn their seventh-straight dub.
There is a lot to take away from this game, as New England’s win, combined with the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Miami Dolphins, gives them a two-game cushion in the AFC East standings. With this contest in the books, let’s look back at the action and pick out four...

Hey Steelers Fans. Welcome to Monday.
After last week’s win over Indianapolis, I said that the formula for the Pittsburgh Steelers was clear. The only way they can win in 2025 is to significantly win the turnover battle. Last night in Los Angeles was further proof. Not only did they not win the turnover battle but they couldn’t have played worse, especially offensively. The Steelers fell behind 25-3 in the second half before losing 25-10 in what could only be described as “an embarrassing loss.” Mike Tomlin certainly wasn’t in any mood to discuss it.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Commanders DT Daron Payne has been suspended one game by the NFL.
Payne received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for punching Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown in Week 10, leading to his ejection.
Payne, 28, is the former 13th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Alabama. He signed a four-year $14.418 million dollar rookie contract with the Washington Football Team that included an $8.566 million dollar signing bonus.
Washington exercised his fifth-year option for the 2022 season which is worth $8.53 million. He re-signed a four-year, $90 million contract through 2026 and is...

Under the prime-time glare in Los Angeles, accountability met frustration. Aaron Rodgers admitted his misses after a flat 25-10 defeat to the Chargers, owning a night of wayward third downs and off-target throws that short-circuited Pittsburgh’s offense.
Nearing his 42nd birthday, he finished 16 of 31 for 161 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, and the Steelers went 0 for 9 on third down. The veteran said he has to hit throws “he usually makes,” while the unit must create separation and sustain drives.
Asked about a different kind of timeline, Rodgers delivered a coy answer when pressed on...

Sunday Night Football was supposed to be a chance for the Pittsburgh Steelers to prove they belonged among the AFC’s upper tier. Instead, it turned into one of their most lifeless showings of the season. The Steelers fell flat at home. They lost 25-10 to the Los Angeles Chargers in a game that exposed just how many cracks are forming beneath the surface of this team.
The Steelers’ defense kept things close early. However, it was the offense that dragged them down. Star QB Aaron Rodgers, coming off a string of solid outings, played his worst...

Even if they’re no longer teammates, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones stands by his former mentor, New York Giants legend Eli Manning.
In a viral video with Fanatics, Jones was asked to speak when a quarterback who was “better” than Manning was named. The list included Hall of Famers like Peyton Manning, Brett Farve, and Tom Brady — who will inevitably get in — as well as some of Manning’s 2004 NFL Draft peers, Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers.
Still, Jones did not waver, always going with Manning. Among the other names included were Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, and Drew...
