Packers Depth Chart Update: What does Green Bay look like post-Tucker Kraft?

The Green Bay Packers’ loss to the Carolina Panthers was a very painful rewatch, filled with self-inflicted wounds by the Packers. Maybe you don’t want to re-live it, but I had to, to figure out what sort of changes Green Bay made to their depth chart and game plan this weekend. So here is the fruit of my painful labor.

As always, the numbers in the tables below tell you how many snaps the team played each player or personnel group in a given week on offense or defense. Plays with pre-snap penalties (false starts, etc.) do not count in...

What are the Jacksonville Jaguars getting in new WR Jakobi Meyers?

Jacksonville’s relatively inexperienced, injury-riddled receiver room got a boost on Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline, as James Gladstone struck the sixth deal of his young tenure to acquire Jakobi Meyers.

To learn more about Meyers and get a sense of Las Vegas’ perspective, we conducted a quick Q&A with Silver & Black Pride.

Big thanks to Matt Holder for answering our questions!

Question 1: Are you surprised that the Raiders traded away Jakobi Meyers?

Not at all. He asked for a trade after training camp since he’s on a contract year and it became pretty clear that the new regime...

Seahawks waive safety to make room for Rashid Shaheed

Seahawks waive safety to make room for Rashid Shaheed

The Seattle Seahawks have a new wide receiver in town, and if you blink you might miss him.

Former New Orleans Saints speedster Rashid Shaheed was traded to Seattle on Tuesday, with the Seahawks giving up fourth- and fifth-round draft picks in the process. With a full roster, someone had to be let go or placed on an injury list to get Shaheed on the squad.

Safety Jerrick Reed II was waived on Tuesday just days after he was promoted to the active roster after Julian Love was placed on injured reserve. Assuming he clears waivers (again) he’ll presumably head...

The Panthers win streak is masking substandard quarterback play

The Panthers win streak is masking substandard quarterback play

The Carolina Panthers are 5-4 and coming off a road win over the Green Bay Packers. It’s a place no one would have reasonably expected this group to be, and the fan base is rightfully feeling really good about the direction of the team. However, all of the good vibes are hiding an elephant in the room that has been growing larger and larger—the quarterback is simply not good enough if the team wants to be genuinely competitive.

Bryce Young had a brutal rookie year in which his circumstances let him down. His second year was significantly better, especially in...

Aaron Rodgers Should Be ‘Slamming It To DK’ Metcalf, Ben Roethlisberger Says: ‘Throw It To Your Monster’

Blink and you might have missed the contributions of DK Metcalf for the Steelers on Sunday—and Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t want that happening again. Metcalf only saw four targets against the Colts, catching two for six yards. He did have a drop, but Roethlisberger insisted that would not deter him—especially in the red zone. The discussion […]

Patriots host 3 defenders on tryouts ahead of Buccaneers game

While most of the NFL was focused on the trade deadline, the New England Patriots used Tuesday to take an up-close look at three free agents. Linebackers Andrew Farmer and D.J. Johnson as well as defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko were in town on a tryout basis.

None of the three ended up immediately signing with the team. The only transaction on Tuesday saw wide receiver Brenden Rice replace running back Jonathan Ward on the practice squad.

Farmer, 25, entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023. The Lane College product saw action in...

Commanders get key defender back vs. Lions after appealed suspension

Commanders get key defender back vs. Lions after appealed suspension

Earlier this week, the NFL levied a one-game suspension on Washington Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu. The suspension was for another hip-drop tackle from Luvu, the third infraction of that type from him this season alone. He was scheduled to miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions

However, on Tuesday night, the NFL downgraded Luvu’s punishment from a one-game suspension to a $100,000 fine, making him eligible to play this week against the Lions.

This is a tough break for Lions fans for several reasons. Earlier this year, Brian Branch failed to get his one-game suspension reduced upon appeal, albeit under...

Grading the Titans’ 3 trade deadline deals

Grading the Titans’ 3 trade deadline deals

The Tennessee Titans did not make a move during Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline. From September to early November, general manager Mike Borgonzi made three separate deals involving players and draft-pick compensation. With the trade deadline now officially over, we assigned letter grades to each Titans deal.

Dre’Mont Jones to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2026 conditional 5th-round pick

This fifth-round pick originally belonged to the New York Jets. It’ll become a Ravens fourth-rounder if Jones records two sacks in Baltimore and the Ravens make the playoffs. Jones was a temporary solution on an expiring contract, so Borgonzi scored quality value...

Cardinals 2025 draft class balling out

Every year, taking players from the college ranks has been the basis of improving every roster in the NFL. April’s NFL draft is one of the most important aspects of building a team and plugging holes.

This year, the Arizona Cardinals’ GM Monti Ossenfort focused on getting quality players for the defensive side of the ball. With seven picks, he chose six defenders with OG Hayden Conner of Texas the lone offensive guy.
