Getting inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is one of the greatest honors for any player. It recognizes that they were among the best of the best. This year’s class was recently inducted, and while it didn’t include any Pittsburgh Steelers, their current defensive line coach, Karl Dunbar, received a shout-out from Jared […]
WCG’s lead draft analyst shares his top 75 prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft with some additional analysis.
The dead period of the NFL offseason is over, and we’re in the midst of training camp, which means the regular season is right around the corner. The Chicago Bears will have plenty to keep us busy here at Windy City Gridiron, which means there’s less time for our summer activities.
For me, one of my go-to summer activities to kill time is watching prospects for next year’s NFL Draft. As of this writing, I’ve been able to scout and grade 200...
The Cleveland Browns quarterback competition at the start of training camp did not provide many opportunities for Shedeur Sanders to prove himself with the first-team offense. Just days after finally getting a shot, he is now sidelined by an injury.
The Browns announced on Saturday morning, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, that Sanders was held out of team drills on Sunday due to arm soreness.

With Kenny Pickett sidelined and 40-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco having his reps managed, Sanders received first-team reps this week for the first time since Browns...
The Baltimore Ravens are no strangers to making additions to their roster late in the summer, which they’ve done routinely with veteran free agents over the years. On Saturday, they did so again - bringing back a familiar face in defensive lineman Brent Urban.
Urban, 34, has played the past three seasons with the Ravens in his second stint with the team. He began his career in Baltimore as a 2014 fourth-round pick and played three seasons before departing and playing for three other teams over the next few years. It seemed like the Ravens may not bring him back...
Country music star Morgan Wallen knew exactly how to fire up the Bay Area crowd Friday night — and he didn’t do it alone. Wallen, performing the first of two sold-out shows in Santa Clara as part of his “I’m the Problem” tour, made a grand entrance at Levi’s Stadium flanked by two San Francisco sports legends: Giants home run king Barry Bonds and 49ers Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young.
The trio emerged from the players’ tunnel to the roar of the crowd, with Wallen’s hit “Broadway Girls” playing in the background. Bonds walked to his left, Young to...

Ranking all 32 NFL teams’ coaching staffs, coordinators in 2025 - ESPN
8. Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s what we don’t know: how the Eagles’ fourth offensive coordinator in four years will perform. Patullo steps into Kellen Moore’s shoes, and the last time an internal promotion replaced an outgoing offensive coordinator following a Super Bowl appearance (just two years ago), the Eagles took a big step back. It’s unlikely they crash out again, as offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland keeps the floor quite high, and the presence...
Adam Schefter reports that the Ravens are signing former Browns and Jaguars RB D’Ernest Johnson.
He had recently worked out for the 49ers, but left San Francisco without signing a contract.
Johnson, 29, wound up going undrafted out of South Florida back in 2019. He later signed a rookie contract with the Browns and re-signed to a one-year deal in 2022.
Johnson signed with the Jaguars on a one-year, $1.2 million contract for the 2023 season. He returned on another one-year deal in 2024.
In 2024, Johnson appeared in 14 games for the Jaguars and recorded 32 rushing attempts for...
Injuries are beginning to pile up in Santa Clara
Day nine of training camp just concluded for the San Francisco 49ers, and the running back room took a big hit today with FB Kyle Juszczyk and RB Isaac Guerendo exiting today’s session. DE Nick Bosa (rest), OT Colton McKivitz (unknown), CB Darrell Luter (personal reasons), and DT Kevin Givens were not seen practicing today, joining WR Jauan Jennings and Jacob Cowing, RB Jordan James, CB Demommodore Lenoir, and Renardo Green. WR Jordan Watkins and S Ji’Ayir Brown returned to practice after missing yesterday’s session.

Veteran Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested last night after a traffic stop for vehicle code violations resulted in the discovery of five firearms arms, including two assault-style rifles. According to a statement by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (via ESPN’s Kris Rhim), Perryman was cooperative with the deputies, booked on felony weapons violation charges, and is being held without bail. TMZ was first to report.
An early statement from the Chargers (via Daniel Popper of The Athletic) told the media they “are aware of a matter involving Denzel and are gathering information.” While [a statement from Perryman’s...
According to Josh Weinfuss, the Cardinals have placed WR Quez Watkins on injured reserve and are signing WR Nate McCollum in a corresponding move.
Watkins, 27, is a former sixth-round pick by the Eagles in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Southern Mississippi. He finished out the final year of his four-year, $3.5 million contract with the Eagles.
The Steelers signed him to a one-year, $1.3 million deal last year but waived him coming out of the preseason before bringing him back to the practice squad.
He never appeared in a game with Pittsburgh before catching on with the Cardinals...
